International Elopement, Should Family Be There?

My fiancé and I are planning on eloping and were originally planning an international elopement. We love traveling and wanted something rural and off the beaten track, but family has expressed interest in going.
For those who have eloped international, did you have family? I don’t know if it would be worth their time to even come since we want a small, secular wedding. I honestly don’t even know what a “ceremony” would look like. We want to privately read vows we’ve written for each other, but other than that I don’t know what we would do.
Our families are religious and part of the reason for eloping is to avoid a religious ceremony.
What has your international “ceremony” looked like?

Edit: by “family” I mean just our parents. I realize this goes against the definition of “elopement” but “micro wedding” also feels incorrect for the vision I have.

I am looking for an everyday bag and have become obsessed with the Fjallraven skule 20 but want second opinions or any cheaper alternative recommendations first.
I don’t regularly carry my laptop to and from work so not worried about a pocket for that, and want something super versatile.
Looking for something under 25L, really like the idea of the bungee cords, and water bottle pocket is a must.
I LOVE my kanken bag, and would like something with the structure that fjallravens have.
Let me know if you prefer another bag, or if this is the bag for me!!
