Hey! Curious of people thoughts on older cheap bikes
Don't get me wrong I would love to have money for a nice slick bike that feels effortless to move.
But sadly, I am broke as a dang joke right now with no money coming in as my work co tracts fell thru.
Whatever. Point is here I am on market place looking at the bikes under 100 bucks
Yes I know that's probably a bit ridiculous
To almost always be hoping for a unicorn of a thing to come round and be affordable
Really what im wondering is
Even with my lack of money
Im wondering what bikes that are older are worth looking out for
I've had the old "vintage" road bikes and well sometimes those are sweet but they are heavy
And can be harder to maneuver than I'd like
But ya , just curious on your guyses perspective or advice or if your like oh ya randomly Norco made a hilariously cheap bike that was actually pretty sweet
Anyway, yes one day ill have money so please refrain from the just get more money comments or what not I also believe that because there is so much waste in this world people throw really nice things away all the time Or have things sitting in their basement or garage they haven't looked at or wanted to use in years So I know not everything is free but sure as heck there's plenty of good bikes or really anything these days! Just sitting with no use in their lives and maybe on their way to the dump even
But anyway :)
Thanks yall ♡♡
