Problem 1:

I have an account with Ambassador status from 2020 that I cannot access. I stopped selling in 2021 and have since then changed my cell phone number.

I made plans to start my resale shop again and could not log into this account because of the 2FA phone verification page. I can technically log into my old account but I cannot get past the 2FA because it has my old cell number and obviously I cannot access it. I have emailed Poshmark Support and received a form response which did not address the problem, just directed me on how to change my phone number in steps *within* my account which is not possible because I cannot get past the 2FA which is asking me to verify my old cell phone number. I emailed Poshmark Support again with screenshots of why I cannot proceed without their assistance.

I have received no response as of yet. I am beyond frustrated.

This brings me to my next problem. I opened a new closet so I could start listing.

Problem 2:

Last night after 15 minutes after I listed one item in my new closet/account, I had a “like” then the user bought the item. Then the scam bs started within the account and directing me to verify my financials outside the account. I am tech friendly but stupidly fell for it as a scan code appeared and it sincerely looked legit from Poshmark. I attached a screenshot and the text window the phishing platform the scam links you to upon clicking.

I read up about Poshmark new Sellers being targeted with bots and phishing scams and I handled it, changed my password, financial info, cancelled my cards, etc. I emailed Poshmark and they responded back with another relatively obvious form response.

What I am concerned about is the jeans I listed, my only listing, is still showing as “sold”. I checked the USPS tracking number and it is real. However, in the app, even though it is showing as sold, it is also showing as “cancelled”. I received emails and notifications within the app that the sale was cancelled last night when the scam/phishing bs started as part of the attempts to obtain my financial info.

I asked Poshmark in another email in response what do I do about this sale? Is it properly cancelled? No response as of yet. I included a screenshot of the item showing “sold” and status of “cancelled”.

I am just beyond frustrated at this point. I cannot access my initial account because Poshmark CS is nonexistent. I tried to start selling with a new account and I get scammed straight away and now have a sale which is sitting there which is labeled “sold” and also “cancelled” and I am not sure if I should ship the jeans or was this part of the scam?

How can you run a platform like this and have such poor customer service when the platform is littered with very serious security issues and impossible account problems?

If anyone has any suggestions to make this easier, please let me know what I can do, I would be so grateful! 💕
