I'm going to be staying with my kid in Central Beaverton (at Arc Central) for 6 nights, is the Central parking garage the best place to park? Any other options? I'm old so lots of walking and riding transit isn't an option. I expect to be parked for periods from 4 hours to 48 hours.
Update: I found information about this, finally. It is a Pashmina shawl with silk warp and wool weft; probably woven in Kashmir in the second half of the 1800's. I'm so pleased to have some information. If anyone can offer more insight, please comment. Thank you.
I got this from a friend and I believe she said it is from Afghanistan, but this could be incorrect. She says it is all wool. It feels coarse and it is one sided - meaning that only one side is suitable for presentation. Can anyone help identify the possible origin and offer what uses it was made for? The people I've shown it to said wall hanging. I suspect it was made with some particular use in mind. Many thanks.
