Irritation after removing the contacts.

Is it normal that eye is a bit irritated after removing the contact lenses after the day? It’s not red and irritated when using. Only when I remove them. I use eyedrops before I try and remove them because otherwise they would be suction cupped in to my eyes. The eye goes back to normal after 30-60 minutes.

Hey, how do you deal with contact lenses when it starts raining?

What if you don’t have an umbrella with you and suddenly it starts raining enough that some rain gets on your face/around your eyes? What are you supposed to do in that situation?
I’m very careful about not wearing my contacts in the shower or washing my face while wearing them. But today I got caught in the rain and my face/eyes got a little wet. I ended up keeping the contacts in for the rest of the day.
Would you normally take them out immediately after getting caught in the rain, or is a little bit of rain exposure not something to worry about? I use dailies but I don’t usually carry extra pairs with me (even tough I should start doing that)

Question?

I’ve been to an ophthalmologist and an optometrist, and I’ve also had an OCT scan. Both confirmed that my eyes are healthy.
Does anyone know what this kind of visual phenomenon could be? Sometimes when I start blinking, I see a small, very noticeable dot in my field of vision, somewhat like a floater. It’s not large, and it moves around a bit like a floater rather than staying fixed in one spot. I usually notice it when blinking in a bright environment.
It doesn’t really feel like a typical floater, because I don’t see it continuously — I mainly notice it when I blink. Has anyone experienced something similar or know what it could be?

I use daily contacts. I have a question?

I use daily contacts and durkng the summer I want to take a mid day shower. Is it okay to take out dailies and store dailies in contact lens solution while taking a shower and put them back in my eye? I still throw it out at the end of the say and never use them the next day. I just don’t want to waste a pair because I want to take a shower during the day.

Mounjaro click chart

My doctor just prescribed me the 10 mg Mounjaro pen. My plan was to inject 5 mg each week so that one pen would last about 2 months.
I’ve been reading that the pens have changed. Can you still adjust the dose on the new pens, or are they now limited to only four injections per pen even if you’re taking a smaller dose?

Question about dry eyes and contacts.

Could someone explain this to me? I can’t wear contact lenses because they dry out in my eyes. I had a dry eye examination, and they found that my eyes don’t produce enough oil. I was told to stop wearing contact lenses for a month, use warm compresses, and start using lipid-based eye drops. Does this mean I won’t be able to wear contact lenses anymore? They said my Meibomian glands look healthy, but they just aren’t producing enough oil.

Showering with contacts

I wear daily disposable contact lenses, and I don’t want to waste a pair just because I want to take a shower in the middle of the day. Since it’s summer and hot outside, I often shower during the day, especially after going for a walk or exercising.
When I shower, I keep airtight swimming goggles on to protect my eyes. Most of the time I don’t wash my hair—I usually just take a body shower. If I do wash my hair, I’m very careful not to get water near my eyes.
Is this still considered risky?

What could be these tiny little dark dots in the white part of my eye?

Toric va regular contacts.

Has anyone else experienced toric lenses drying out much faster than the non-toric version of the exact same lens?
For example, I tried Dailies Total1 Toric and they felt dry almost immediately, but the regular Dailies Total1 feels comfortable all day. I’ve noticed the same pattern with other brands too: toric lenses tend to dry out or become uncomfortable, while the spherical versions are fine.
Since the toric and non-toric versions use the same material and technology, I would’ve expected them to feel almost identical. Is there something about the toric design that makes them dry out faster or feel less comfortable?
My astigmatism is fairly mild, but I’d still prefer wearing toric lenses if possible. Has anyone found a toric lens that’s as comfortable as the spherical version?

Is there really a huge difference between PAL and NTSC?

Is there a significant difference in quality between US DVDs and European DVDs? As far as I know, Region 1 (US and Canada) uses NTSC at 720×480, while Region 2 (Europe) uses PAL at 720×576. Does the higher PAL resolution make a noticeable difference in picture quality, or is the difference fairly minor in real-world viewing?

Is there anyone else that Percicion1 work better than Daily total1

The Daily total 1 contact lenses are more premium contact lenses compared to Percicion1 but when I use daily total 1 they start dry in my eyes within the first hour or 2 where as the Percicion1 stays pretty consistant. Percicion1 dailies are also so much cheaper. I wear toric versions so they only have 90 Dk/t oxygen.
