Can you fix -0,75 Astigmastism with perscription?

My prescription is plano (0.00) with -0.75 astigmatism in my right eye, and -0.50 with -0.75 astigmatism in my left eye. I have dry eyes, and toric contact lenses are too thick for me. I tried wearing just one toric lens in my left eye with my optometrist, and it stayed comfortable all day without drying out.
With such a mild amount of astigmatism, is it possible to correct my vision using only the spherical power (non-toric lenses), or would that not work well?

Dry eyes when wearing contact lenses. I need help.

I wanted to ask if there are any home remedies or self-care methods I could try to reduce the feeling of dryness while wearing contact lenses. I’d like to try a few things before booking an appointment with an eye doctor, as eye exams and dry eye treatments can be quite expensive.
I only experience dry eyes when I’m wearing contact lenses. So far, I’ve tried Precision1 and DAILIES TOTAL1 lenses, but both still end up feeling dry in my eyes. I use lubricating eye drops, but they don’t always seem to help.
Recently, I’ve started using a warm eye mask, drinking more water, and taking omega-3 supplements in the hope that they might improve the situation.
Other than when I’m wearing contact lenses, I don’t suffer from dry eyes at all. Does anyone have any suggestions for things I could try at home before seeing an eye doctor?

Should I try Acuve Oasis Max one more time?

So, Should I try Acuve Oasis Max one more time? I’ve trued it once before and It did not feel dry in my eyes at all. But the lenses felt like I had 10 eyelashes stuck in my eyes and because I wear astigmatism lenses I kept seeing a halo in my periphial vision constantly. Are these things something that I could get usted to over time or are the lenses not just suitable for me.

I have a question about Daily total 1 toric and Daily total 1 regular if someone can help me.

Hi,
I have a question about DAILIES TOTAL1 contact lenses.
I have mild astigmatism (-0.75 cylinder in both eyes). Some time ago, I tried the toric version of DAILIES TOTAL1, but they felt dry almost immediately after putting them in, so I stopped using the trial lenses my optician gave me.
Since then, I have been wearing the non-toric DAILIES TOTAL1 lenses because my optician suggested trying them without astigmatism correction. They feel very comfortable and do not seem to dry out at all.
However, I would still like to wear toric lenses because I want the best possible vision correction. Is it possible that I simply had a bad eye day when I tried the toric lenses, and that the dryness was not actually caused by the lenses themselves?
Also, are the toric and non-toric DAILIES TOTAL1 lenses made from the same material? In other words, if the non-toric version works well for me, would the toric version be expected to work similarly as well?
Would it be worth booking another appointment with my optician and trying a new pair of toric trial lenses?

Is this normal?

This is my eyes after 6 hours of wearing contacts. Does the veins in my eyes look normal? Does anyone elses eye look like this after wearing contacts? My eyes does not hurt or anything. The contacts I use is Percicion1 for astigmatism. And when I got the contacts my optometrist checked it and say they fit fine in my eye.

Percicion1 Toric Dk/t

I think Percicion1 are one of the only lenses that work for me. I’m just thinking about the fact that the toric version oxygen is only 90 Dk/t, is that good?

How often and how long do you wear your contacts?

I hate wearing glasses, especially during the summer. It always gets hot at my workplace in the summer, and I can’t stand the feeling of sweating behind my ears while the arms of my glasses are resting there. When my face gets sweaty, my glasses keep slipping down all the time as well.

Is it safe to wear contact lenses for 12–18 hours every day? The contact lenses I use have an oxygen permeability (Dk/t) rating of 119. Sometimes I use dailies that are Dk/t 90

Can someone help me?

So my perscription is my left eye is -0,5 and my right eye is 0 bot eyes has -0,75 astigmatism. Toric lenses don’t work for me because of dry eyes and they feel uncomfortable in my eyes, I have tried Daily total 1, Acuvue Oasys Max and Percicion 1.

My optometrist had me trying regular contact lenses to my left eye and it worked. My eyes don’t feel dry and I don’t feel the contact lens in my eye. But sometimes the astigmatism bothers me. Can I correct or sharpen my vision even just a little with higher perscription?

Has anyone else here tried the percicion7 contact lenses?

Hi, is there anyone else who has tried the Percicion7 weekly contact lenses? I just recently tried them and they feel like nothing in my eyes. I use the toric ones and my eyes don’t feel dry at all. But when I use percicion1 dailies my eyes feel dryer in them. I am wondering why is that since many say dailies are better for dry eyes.

Veins in eyes

Hi, I was just wondering is there anyone else who notices more veins in the white part of their eyes when wearing contacts? My eyes are not like red but I do notice more veins in my eyes when I am wearing my contacts. I have been using contacts for like 1 and a half months so I’m a pretty new user when it comes to contacts. Is it normal?

Acuve Oasys Max for astigmatism

I’ve been trying Acuvue Oasys Max Toric lenses and they’re pretty comfortable, but I can see the edges of the contacts really easily. It’s almost like I’m constantly aware of where the lens ends.

Anyone else with astigmatism have this issue with toric lenses? Is it normal to notice the lens edges this much, or could the fit be off?

I love the lenses, I have dry eyes and have tried the Alcon Daily Total 1 contacs but they dry off in my eye within the first hour of use. Percicion 1 is a bit better and I can use them for many hours but still feels dry. The Acuve Oasys Max works for me but I keep seeing the edges of the lens so annoyingly. Anybody else?
