Favorite Escape Rooms?

Looking to book an escape room with a medium-sized party (10ish ppl) in the coming weeks. For themes, anything that has to do with magic/the ancient world (greece, egypt, etc.)/victorian would be amazing.

Any recs and/or thoughts are much appreciated!

I Just Need to Vent

I have always known that popular culture glorifies skinniness. It was not until about a year ago I got into Maintenance Phase that I really started realizing just how bad things were and began to re-examine my relationship with my own body.

I've been fortunate that the people around me are, for the most part, quite welcoming of all body types and that has been very helpful with managing my own issues.

Recently, I started exercising again with some regularity after a period of high stress and recovery from an injury. In a very trusting and naive moment, I decided to take to Reddit and see what people with similar chronic things were doing and eventually ended up on multiple subs that I shall not directly tag here. What I saw horrified me.

Post after post of people who look fit and healthy, comments come in the dozens about how to lose weight, how to diet, do large deficits, "cut," etc. etc. As if this weren't bad enough, there are so many teenagers who, in their own moment of vulnerability, sought help from strangers most of whom basically insult them and tell them to go on a GLP-1. It makes me want to scream and I want to comment on each of those posts a word of encouragement or dissent, but I know it will be relegated to the status of a town fool being assaulted by rotten tomatoes.

I am sorry for the long post and for a somewhat meaningless rant. I just felt an overwhelming frustration and didn't know where to put it. How do you guys deal with this when you encounter it? How do you steel yourself from allowing the constant exposure to this messaging to send you back on a dark spiral?

Switching Phones

Hello everyone!

I learned about the light phone when the LPII was only just being developed. I pre-ordered, but had to request a refund because I was still at school and needed the cash for other things. Ever since, I've been keeping an eye on everything Light has been doing and have been increasingly impressed. With today's email to order the flip phone, I got very excited and placed a pre-order. I literally can't wait to try this phone out!

My question for long-term users is how easy it is to move the esim back and forth between two phones. I sometimes need to travel to other countries, some of which are not supported by the light phone (I just checked using their online tool). This would mean that I would need to re-activate the sim on my iphone in order to be functional (also so much of flying today relies on the usage of a smartphone).

I'd appreciate any comments or thoughts on this!

Satin High Top Sneaker - Dries Van Noten

I am late to the game, but I loved the way they look on Harry Styles in the Dance No More music video. Unfortunately, not only are they out of the white/cream, but they are $700. Does anyone know any shoes that have that level of flexibility, are high tops in a white or cream, and are up $300ish?

Any and all recs welcome!
