Priceline home brand hair products - surprisingly fragrance free

For any of you looking for cheap fragrance free hair styling products, Priceline has a new haircare range. I've only tried the gel (on long 2c/3a hair) and it seems to be good (based on my limited first impression), though I don't have enough of a point of comparison to say anything more than my hair looks better with it than without anything. They have a heat protectant (!!), oils, and a few anti-frizz things. And it's actually cheap! My general approach to cosmetics (exception maybe being makeup, because it's fun, but I still only get drugstore stuff) is the less money and effort to get the bare minimum, the better. I don't want to have to pay luxury prices for fragrance free products (even if I get luxury quality results) because I just don't care enough for that one type of frivolity (which is to say I prefer my other frivolities, not that there's anything wrong with frivolous pursuits). I'm just weirdly happy to be able to have cheap off-brand products again ;-;

Anyway, I'd love to know if anyone else has tried anything from this range

Drugstore makeup that LASTS, or: this dumbass wants to walk 10km+ and have her makeup intact

Per the title, I walk just about everywhere. 2 hour walk? No problem, I wake up early regardless. Genuinely, if I have time, I'll walk just about anywhere, whether that's 2km down the road to the grocery store or 12km to a party at my best friend's house. The issue is, short of only doing eyeliner and lips, I haven't found a way to keep my makeup on. I'm pretty fit, but I still sweat lol.

Basically all my makeup is expired or empty, which is a great excuse to finally buy more stuff! yay consumerism /j. Seriously though, I'll take recs for just about anything. Ideally products available in store at chemist warehouse, priceline, w cosmetics, etc. (unless it's going to completely change the game I don't have the budget mecca and sephora unfortunately).

Need help writing a cryptic yearbook quote - can't pick a word to clue

I want to write a cryptic clue for my yearbook quote. I'm all good with the actual setting (please don't give me suggestions for whole clues, I want to write it on my own without external influence) — I set the cryptic for my school newspaper — but I am completely stuck on what the actual answer should be.

The current contenders are "farewell", "goodbye", "so long", and "the end", but they all seem so cliche. Any ideas?

And here's a clue for tax purposes:

Not whole: pause! (9)

Answer: >!semicolon!<

[Australia] We both get $20 when you buy $20 of crypto with Coinbase

Use my code and you get a bonus $20aud in bitcoin when you signup and trade $20. Full disclosure, I found this site from a swagbucks deal that paid me (less than $20 to make an account and trade $10, low-key regret not just looking for another affiliate code) to sign up, but I don't get anything more than anyone else using the affiliate thing. You will get the $20 in your coinbase account in about 36 hours after the trade, according to their website terms. Only available to people in Australia.

Studying makes me... well you know 🍆💦

Every morning, I wake up at 4:00am with my thick member pulsating angrily. It aches for the firm grip of my right hand. Being the lonely reddit virgin I am, all I could do to ease the pain of my celibacy was to jork it.

20 seconds later, I toss the sock in the washing basket (hygiene, people, hygiene) and immediately go to study. It probably takes about 0.3 seconds to do this. Definitely less than 0.5.

So I've been doing this for a while, repeating my morning routine just about every day. I jerk off, then I study for a few hours before school. But something strange happened yesterday afternoon...

I was studying at my desk, just as I usually would, working on my psych EPI. And you'd never believe this. I was so caught up in writing my practice discussion I didn't notice it happening until I saw the wet spot on my pants. Jizz.

I realised then that I had classically conditioned myself to cum from studying. I would write out the full NS + UCS -> UCR etc. stuff but I don't want to cum again. My dih is exhausted. My balls hurt. This is torture. I can't even fix it because they removed extinction from the study design. Help

Button-trolley-problem

You are tied to the train tracks. You are also, simultaneously, given two buttons. Don't question it.

If you press the red button, nothing changes (the trolley continues down its original path) and it runs over 5 random blue-pressers (they die).

If you press the blue button, the trolley will be diverted and you will die (you end up as one of the 5 blue-pressers in someone else's trolley-button problem), **unless** more than 50% of people press blue (in which case, the system breaks because it doesn't have the computational power to handle selecting that many random blue-pressers).

You technically could not press either button (the 5 blue-pressers still die), but pressing buttons is fun.

If you press both buttons simultaneously, the trolley does multitrack drift

Hate microtrends, love cow print

As per the title: there is little more I detest in the clothing world than cheap polyester crap made to last only for one tiktok post. But holy cow I simply adore cow print. And even now, years after the 2020 cow print everything phase, I still haven't even able to find anything that meets both my aesthetic and quality standards. There's still a lot of the fast fashion stuff on the second hand market, but I want something that will LAST. After 6 years of pining (yes, 2020 was 6 years ago...), my love of cow print is not going anywhere.

So that brings me to making my first post here, after lurking for a while. Do you have any recommendations for good quality clothing brands that make cow print? I'm mostly looking for tight-fitting shirts (this is most a confort/sensory thing rather than aesthetic, being otherwise *very* revealing is probably slightly undesirable but not a dealbreaker), dresses, and flowy/flared skirts. I prefer the sort of smooth blobby cow print, as opposed to the realistic rough/blurry edged type that looks like it could've come from a photo of a real cow, but all recommendations are so welcome :)

I'm 159cm and usually wear a medium, if that's relevant. I'm happy to tailor skirts shorter though.

Ideally something that isn't from too niche a brand so I can add it to my saved searches and buy it second hand market — the budget is around $50aud per piece and I'm not delusional enough to think I could get anything new at that price. If it was perfect and I couldn't find it second hand, I would save up and pay up to $250 new. Because I primarily buy things used, it doesn't really matter whether they still make it (again, unless it's so obscure there's no chance of finding it).

So on one hand thank fornication we don't live in a society where etiquette is so strictly enforced it's taught in schools and books on the subject are necessary for anyone at all to decipher it, but on the other I wish there was one I could read. I often find myself in social situations where I genuinely have no clue what to do, and I'd at least like to know what the neurotypical rules are before rejecting them. Generally, things like eye contact, small talk, and using language to communicate relationships/connections/affection rather than facts and opinions doesn't bother me at all (which is highly individual! neurodiversity) to do manually and it makes my neurotypical friends/family/coworkers/acquaintances happier, so I do it because I care about them. If they're a random stranger or enemy they get the blank affect and autistic stare. But I will also constantly ask the men in my life if they want me to carry their bags out of spite my country's culture of "benevolent" sexism. Essentially, I like knowing what other people want and expect so I can subvert or fulfil it in an informed manner.

Anyway, this is not the thread to discuss whether autistic people should or shouldn't mask. I ask not out of desire to fit in, but out of desire to understand intellectually/anthropologically how 'fitting in' works and the way it is done.

Are there any modern etiquette books?

I don't care how heinously wrong/sexist/biased/offensive they are so long as they are useful as primary sources on neurotypical behaviour (or the behaviour of a subset of neurotypicals) I will read anything from the world's angriest feminists to the manosphere if it provides such insight.

Edit to add: I am an evil autistic pirate and I will not be financially supporting misogynists
