Friend told me she was feeling vibes and I am too -- kind of want to bring up a brief convo about where we stand?

So context, we loveee context.

TL;DR: Four years ago in 2022, I (30, F) went to visit this friend (30, F) with some other mutual friends where she lives in Canada (I'm in the US). It was our first time meeting irl after knowing each other for a year or two, it was a mostly good trip (there was some drama from one of the other friends on the trip), and then we went back home! Post-return home, I was smacked in the face with a big ole crush, told her, she said there weren't returned feelings, and I was cool with that. I got over the crush and we continued on as friends.

Fast-forward to the last year or so, and we've obviously been talking and stuff since 2022, but we've definitely gotten closer in the last year. Partially because we're into a lot of the same things and some of our favorite shows have had new seasons/work has been crazy/etc... This summer in particular has kind of been a big uptick in talking, specifically on video calls about a show we both like.

Anyway, Monday this week rolls around and we got on call to do our post-episode yap and wound up talking more about just life in general. The topic of dating/friends getting engaged comes up like two hours in and we're sharing anecdotes. She brings up the whole me telling her I had a crush and wanting to test the waters (note: we hadn't talked about it after our initial "hey, there are no vibes reciprocated" lol) because we'd been talking about a coworker who had tried to ask someone out and how he went about it wrongly and I basically said something along the lines of how when it comes to asking someone you have feelings/vibes for, you have to just either do it and be an adult and move past it if there's no reciprocation or just decide to not say anything.

She agreed and then kind of paused and then said essentially that "Yeah, that's absolutely it. And sometimes when that happens, it's just not the right time and things might change later on for one of the people. And you know, there might be vibes now." My brain went into full buffering mode because I wasn't expecting that at all lmaoo. I did take a second to process before being like "yeah, yeah, I think there's vibes there too."

So we kind of talked a littleee about it and we ended off on her saying she wanted to slow burn and see where things go. Then we moved onto other things on call.

My ask re: advice is we left it at that, had another call on Tuesday about the show we love, and then we talk fairly regularly on Discord throughout the week. I kinddd of want to revisit the conversation because I've been in full "hehe, we like each other" mode all week, but I also like clarity and clear communication and I just want to make sure we're on the same page about what exactly slow burn is and where we stand. I also don't want to be like... we need to define this or put pressure on it because it's nothing super serious yet. And I'm not sure how to go about that. 😭

I have very limited dating history and this is very much my first time having feelings reciprocated that have me feeling like giggling and kicking my feet energy, so I'm like... what do?

Trying to remember the name of this cafe/restaurant off of Cordova St!

EDIT: It was The Floridian!

So as the tin says I'm trying to remember the name of this cafe/restaurant somewhere off of Cordova St. that is within a 15 min walk of the Lightner Museum. I'm hoping someone might know!

I went there for a solo birthday lunch like two years ago and can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I've tried searching online for the place and have so far drawn a blank. I only live like 45 mins to an hour away, but I haven't been able to make it back to St. Augustine in a hot second and was thinking of making a little day trip soon before gas goes up even more. 😭

I have pics of my drink + food and I remember that there is an alligator skull with a pride flag like right behind the bar if that helps!

Additionally, the cocktail is called "Night of the Vampire."

I default to a few outfits while I'm slowlyyy trying to build a wardrobe that I actually like.

I at least have a few outfits I really like but the lack of pieces in my wardrobe that are both comfortable and fit my overall style is endlessly frustrating. It's going to take ages for me to have more than a handful of tops and a single pair of pants that I like.

Anyone else planning to trade/give away bracelets at West Palm Beach show?

Just curious if anyone else is planning to! I'm already getting a head start on making a bunch! I made like 30 for the Tampa MCR show last Steptember and it's SUCH a fun part of concerts for me now. :)

Somehow going to EDAABP Tour thanks to my coolest amazing bestie??

So context: I lost all my freelance clients back in October 2025 right before tickets for the tour were announced and I've been unable to find new freelance work or part/full-time work since then. I pretty much gave up on being able to see this tour. It's been really depressing because I've also lost out on the chance to see Paramore on their last couple of tours and obviously Hayley's last solo tour was cancelled due to COVID. So I was pretty much resigned to not getting to see her on this tour even though this album means the world to me and I've spent the last 20 years trying to see Paramore/Hayley live.

I didn't even bother signing up for presale codes or anything with the new tour dates that were announced because of the whole having no money of it all.

Cut to this morning and my best friend of 16 years who has had to listen to me be the biggest Paramore/Hayley fan for that whole time texts me "I have your birthmas present. I'm revealing it 6 months early because reasons." (We do birthmas presents because we were both born in November lol.)

And then she hits me with the screenshot of the tickets she got us for one of the shows?? And I pretty much lost my shit. 😭😭😭 So yeah, just wanted to post about this because holy shit?? My best friend is just really amazing! I will be making it to the EDAABP tour against all odds and I'm insane about it!!
