I really want to run Veterans of the Fang, as I like the utility of splitting the grey hunters.

So, either saga of the great wolf, or saga of the Beastslayer as my other detachment.

I have 25pts spare for enhancements(so depending on the detachment I can add something extra).

Saga of the great wolf offers take and hold, which is nice. I am increasingly thinking the lethal hits from Beastslayer will be very valuable, but I'm not super keen to play purge, so I'd probably end up playing disruption (which i fell my list will have the capacity to do).

I don't want to change my list, so dropping Veterans for saga and song isn't an attractive option to me, as the grey hunters are not valuable unless they can split.

What do you folks think? Great Wolf and take and hold, or Beastslayer and disruption?

I have a spiderfang army in AoS which I'd like to see if it's possible to convert to old world (with limited buying of new models.

I have four araknarok spiders. Two with fingers (which I could turn into rock lobbers). One with a shaman (but I have two extra shaman on foot I could also put on additional araknorok.

Big boss on gigantic spider.

Three squads of 10 spider riders.

I found an army builder online, which let me build

Orcs and goblins.

3x 10 spider riders with spears, bows, light armour and fill command

Two rock lobbers in rare

Araknorok spider as rare choice.

This is roughly 2000pts. Is this legal? Is this an army which fits the game at all? I've never played old fantasy. Just this army doesn't really work in AoS anymore, and want to take advantage of the models I've already finished.

With no cp cap, looking to take advantage of that with Saga of the Bold.

Combi-lt goes on middle objective and causes a ruckus with reactive move if folks get too close, or resurrection on the objective if they try and shoot him.

Grey Hunter split for actions and objective.

Part I'm most unsure of is the Speeder, but I'm not sure how to fill the points better.

Battleleader can get to a d3 thunderhammer. Skald world Priest helps generate additional cp with Bjorn.

I might have missed something, and all this is completely irrelevant.

Otherwise, I've not seen a clause where you can only gain 1 cp a turn.

So, with Saga of the Bold, could you take a character with Skjald enhancement and just be a little cp battery? Especially along with Bjorn?

Might make the detachment very interesting.
