I recently got laid off, and honestly, it came as a surprise.

A few days before it happened, I was on a work trip to Manila with my coworker and my boss. During our conversation, my boss explained that there just wasn't enough work for me anymore. Looking back, I had noticed projects slowing down, but I was hoping things would pick up again.

Since then, I've been applying for remote Front-End Developer positions almost nonstop. I've been updating my resume, searching job boards, and sending applications every day.

Hi everyone. My girlfriend recently suggested I seek professional help after I opened up about my childhood. Honestly, I’ve kept this baggage to myself my whole life and the idea of 'spilling' it to a stranger is terrifying. I’m not ready to go yet, but I want to plan ahead.
