Carpet transition help

First time laying carpet, I have these metal transition strips in second pic, what's the best way to adhere to concrete?

Carpet transition

I have these carpet transition strips, other material is asbestos tile over concrete. How can I secure these in place as a transition?

I was thinking tapcons but those heads would stick up, and then wondering if construction adhesive would hold well? Any advice is much appreciated!

Help with finish carpentry on cabinets

Built my first cabinets and am pretty happy with the results. I'm now at the point of finishing it and with them being in a basement nothing is quite square.

Any advice on how to put the finishing touches on here is much appreciated!

Help with outdoor installation

I'm a stained glass artist with little mosaic experience.

​

There's a big divot/crack in my driveway that I thought would look cool with some glass or tile embedded into it.

​

Problem is, I live in Minnesota where it gets extremely cold in the winter, and pretty dang hot in the summer.

​

Any advice on products or how to go about this endeavor?

Face frame question

I put a 1x2 face frame on a 3 inch vertical stretcher. If I do a partial overlay shaker door will that be fine or should I do something differently?
