PS5 controller squeak

my controller got this all movement squeak, extremely spontaneously. i haven't played heavy use games in a while and im usually only on for 15m-1 hour a day (genshin impact usually) so not sure what triggered it. i do have a cat, so naturally i cleaned the exterior of the joysticks, no luck, so decided to lube the inside. while it did fix the stick squeaking mostly as it goes around the edges, it still squeaks in micro movements. i'm thinking that the grease is not reaching the bottom where i suspect it is sticking. is there an easier way to get that lubed if it is the problem? or should i just replace it? it came with my ps5 i got almost year and a half ago.
my other option is a shop that i used to go to that fixed my ps4 controller stick drift a few times for a decent price but at that point would it just be worth buying it new instead..? repair could be $40 maybe although it's just lube so could be less. (unless they replace the stick) not sure if gamestop would take it for a trade in, may be squeaky but i usually play my games in near complete silence so it drives me nuts.

just some pretty eyes appreciation

let me see your kitty's pretty eye colors! my girl has more 'seaglass' looking eye colors but only in bright light. its the first thing people notice about her is it the same for everyone else?

The usual starter problems

my car has had a starter issue for about a year/ year and half and wondering what the fix is. it used to buzz, no start, and took maybe 5 turns to start. now i get no sound, buzz, then starts and can take about a minute or two before it cranks and starts. just replaced my battery a few months ago (it was on its way out anyways, struggled to hold charge) then did the starter a month or two ago, and just two days ago, the clutch switch. (i plugged it in after taking the photo, and my friend gave me a rubber stopper for the pedal yesterday) the ground points in the engine were removed, some corrosion but not bad. sanded down clean and put back.
still no dice. unrelated i am doing the accessory belts soon as well if not today.
what else could be the issue atp?? i am leaving to go to MATG likely on tuesday, and while the car technically still starts i'd rather be able to not worry about how long im lingering at gas stations/turning car off and struggling to get it back on. for me the drive is something like 15-18 hours, last year was about 5:30/6am-11:30pm drive but we stopped a lot getting our bearings.
usually first thing in the morning my car starts right up or on the third try usually not that bad. sometimes if i pump the clutch or move the steering wheel it will start.

if anyone has an idea pls drop it or if anyone has parts or knows what vendors i can message to bring parts i might be able to work on it while in NC.

300 moon old cat? (LifeGen)

i think this is the oldest cat from any of my save files.. this cat is 25 human years if my math is right. i just found this cat on a patrol with just the leader, they played for a while before parting ways and agreeing to play next time, as long as Icescreech stays close to the border.

show me your oldest cats! is there a cap to how old a cat can be? especially leaders although my leaders always be getting into trouble..

senior bengal care?

after a month of searching and applying, my partner and I brought home a sweet old girl. shes a 15 year old Bengal, her owner had her from a kitten and dumped her at a shelter. my old girl is so sweet, comes right up for a pet and she tries to sleep with us in the bed, but both me and partner are kind of crazy sleepers so she usually ends up back in her own. we have a cat tree, but she really doesnt use it. i have a photo of her in it-but thats the only time ive seen her use it. we give her a fiber and joint supplement, but it's still too soon to see any progress. she refuses to get up on top of the ac where we put a bed (right in front of the window) and she also refuses to get up there. height wise is about the same height as the flat platform above the hammock on the cat tree, and so is our bed-which she has no problem jumping up on to come wake me up in the middle of the night because she wants to smell my face.

if anyone has a senior bengal-what's the best way to keep them active? i would love to see her exploring but given her age it might be best just to make her comfortable, in which case how are some of yall making your home accessible for your old babies? right now im not hating this because it means she isnt jumping onto the table where we eat, although this is traded for wet floors because she doesn't properly groom herself and walks around with wet feet after splashing in her fountain.

How do you choose your first cat?

It's my first time adopting a cat- a series of flopped applications led me to one where I think i may have hope to get accepted! the last two places I applied had an age restriction and the other has not responded for an entire month(originally said 10 days). i was losing hope that people didnt want cats to be adopted out, when i found a cat lounge close to me. i visited, and met some cats i really liked. they had two that seemed like good options, a 3y.o polydactyl tabby male and (my favorite) a probbaly 8m.o gray and white tux female. both have been extremely friendly every time i go, although the older cat doesn't approach me. i've been there about 3 times now, and i've spent maybe close to 4 hours over the course of the past week playing with the cats, one session being 2 hours straight. here's where i'm a bit torn-the owners said they would rather we adopt the older cat, especially since they usually wait longer for homes. She said the younger cat was friendly and will likely be adopted quick.

the older cat has come over for a pet once, and hung around me and my partner for a little bit while we play with the other cats. he accepts pets and seems to have a calm temperament. he hangs around but doesnt really approach, and is usually sleeping.

the younger cat, im trying to decipher if she is just social or if i have a special bond with. i strongly believe that your cat will choose you, they definitely have good instincts for people they deem worthy. she was not interactive the first time i visited, came over for pets once from everyone but was a bit skittish and would not hang around when she wanted to lay down. the second time, i brought a jacket with me, and the temperature inside the lounge is perfect, so i didn't need it. while she was a little nervous when we sat next to her, and would get up and jump away, she would come back after a few minutes to return to her spot-laying on my jacket. she rubbed her face all over it multiple times, then started grooming herself laying on it. my last visit, i sat down next to the jacket, and she came up all on her own and stuck her head out for pets. (this is new- she hadnt really previously offered herself for the amount of pets she let me give her- a full 30 seconds!) this was twice, and she laid down next to me. yesterday she actually meowed at me for the first time too! so cute, i offered her pets, which she took. she did grab me once, i flinched bc i wasnt expecting it, but she grabbed my leg with her claws and her mouth was open maybe to bite? i was also wearing thin pants so jumped a little, she got spooked and immediately let go and bolted away..

my friend went with me last time, and upon seeing her rub herself all over my jacket again while laying next to me (she swatted at him for trying to pet her a second time ) even he said 'thats your cat'. i'm torn. i want to help out by adopting an older kitty, but when only one cat in the room is trying hard to rub their scent on you, it makes you feel specially chosen. my partner and I agreed that if we are approved to adopt (we should be hearing back from them soon) we will go back one more time to visit the cats before making a final choice. and no, we can't have both. we are only allowed one pet in our apartment. we can't afford to move housing to make it work for the cats either. our apartment is a really good deal(it's still expensive but for a studio or one bedroom the rent is under 2k.) from what i've read the she-cat definitely feels comfortable and safe around me-i've been trying hard to learn the best ways to interact with cats, and ive passed most of the 'tests' shes given me. i try to let them approach me on their own, i do offer my hand if the cat would like a pet first, if they turn away i try not to feel disappointed-they may come back for a pet later anyways if they are used to me. the right cat will understand my energy and know how to approach me, if that's what they want.

so my question here is-if you've been made to choose between 2 cats, what was your choice? do you regret one or the other? if you were in my shoes-what's the deciding factor?
