Ive been trying to learn grasshopper for a while now, with some success. But a lot of the tutorials Ive found, even the good ones, allude to a grasshopper function doing math but dont actually explain what the math is.

Im not the most math person out there, but I think my work and creative flow would benefit a lot if I knew what KIND of formulas I was trying to get grasshopper to simulate.

Anybody got good resources that connect GH to the underlying math?

Hi everyone, I have a model of rather a lot of individual meshes (initially made as breps, then converted for ease of handling) except now im trying to managage the file and realizing that for some reason just about every object has a duplicate that is just different enough internally, or maybe off by a millimeter, for SelDup to not catch it. ANybody got any ideas for how to resolve this? Either some rhino function or grasshopper. Its really fucking with my work. Any help appreciated.

Recently got a CC2. Overall fine, but every file i input will consistently take 10-25% longer than it originally claims. Been using the same PLA the whole time basically no settings changes.

I just changed the print speed from "balanced" to "ludicrous" and the print time went up by four minutes. Whats going on.

I know very little about hockey but apparently the entire former men's team are requesting to be traded out to specific places? And this is shady? Why?

Hi everyone. Im trying to move a model from rhino (polysurfaces) to archicad. Seemingly everything is peachy, except for one piece right for some reason. It's in the same layer as other stuff that imported fine, so idk what the issue is. There's no missing items notif in the library. Any advice would be appreciated.
