My completed flintlock fantasy trilogy is available on KU!

My name is Connor Ludovissy. I'm the author of the Reukanaz Saga.

The Reukanaz Saga is a flintlock fantasy trilogy in the vein of Brian McClellan. The first book, Honor for the Dead, tells the story of a young man named Ao who signs up for the army and gets a hell of a lot more than he bargains for. What follows is a tale of dishonor, betrayal, and runic magic.

Then things get much crazier.

The end of the trilogy, Death to Tyrants Parts 1 and 2, will release on July 4. Or whenever Amazon decides to surprise drop it on me.

I would never be so bold as to smear my politics across the internet. But it might have, let's say, subtle antifascist themes. The title might clue you in.

Thanks for reading. AMA if you feel like it.

Free on Kindle: Honor for the Dead by Connor Ludovissy

The first of a now-complete flintlock fantasy trilogy.

Ao has always tried to do the right thing. Now he has blood on his hands, his own comrades are hunting him, and the right thing to do isn’t so clear anymore.

Renfreya and the Kings have fought each other to a bloody stalemate on the Plain of the Ancestors, and no one knows who will emerge the victor. No one but Ao.

When an easy first mission turns into a massacre, Ao uncovers a secret that could turn the tide of the war and save his home. But with a power-hungry sergeant leading the company and a horde of killers opposing them, he might never get the chance. Not unless he creates it himself.

With his rifle, cunning, and a little bit of runic magic, Ao will do whatever it takes to save his home. No matter who has to bleed for it.

EB Garamond won't show up in previewer. Help!

Hello,

I've had a host of KDP issues this week, and finally having conquered most of them, there's one more. If I upload my paperback as a word doc, the formatting is correct, but it strips out my EB Garamond font (even though I embedded it with LibreOffice).

If I upload the paperback as a PDF, the formatting gets screwed up and Amazon has a whole list of errors. I've tried doing this through libreoffice and google docs online and saving in either creates the same issues. Help!

Update: simply changing to Times New Roman fixed it. Good lord. Thanks for the help.

Help! KDP upload issues

Screenshot of the issue.

Help! I'm trying to upload the last of my trilogy and I've been under a mountain of formatting issues. After getting all the formatting just how I thought it needed to be, I'm getting hit with a slew of errors on Amazon KDP, and nothing I tweak seems to make any difference.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Different font sizes across chapters. Help!

Hello,

I have a finished book about to be uploaded for publication and I'm having scrivener issues. For a reason I cannot figure out, chapter 7 (pictured on the right), when turned into an EPUB, has a smaller font than the rest of the book.

The font size in scrivener is the same. All of the settings seem to be the same, and should get overwritten anyway, in compile. In compile, chapter 7 is a scene, just like all the rest.

Help!
