Silver as gifts?

Do you buy silver as gifts for other people? Do they understand owning/stacking silver? I contemplate giving people silver for birthdays but I'm not sure they would care as much as I would if I received silver as a gift!

Had a client sell his whole set. Always cool to see! What years do you own, if any?

The first American Silver Eagle coin was released by the U.S. Mint on November 24, 1986. The coin was first struck in San Francisco on October 29, 1986, under the Liberty Coin Act of 1985. The first release of 5.4 million coins sold out almost immediately.

(I'm a precious metals buyer, this was not a personal buy, I just like sharing cool stuff

The "Devil's Brigade" Nickname: Enemy forces reportedly gave the unit this name because of their stealth and fearlessness.

Psychological Warfare: The unit famously left printed cards on the bodies of enemy soldiers that read "Das dicke Ende kommt noch!" ("The worst is yet to come!") in red ink.

Modern Heritage: The FSSF is considered the forerunner to several modern special operations units, including the U.S. Navy SEALs, Delta Force, Green Berets, and Canada’s Joint Task Force 2.

The Spearhead: The central design is the FSSF shoulder patch.

National Unity: A U.S. star and a Canadian maple leaf flank the spearhead, symbolizing the alliance between the two nations.

Warrior Spirit: The crossed arrows below the patch symbolize the unit's "warrior spirit".

Purity: These coins are made of 99.99% pure silver (often labeled as .9999 fine).

Face Value: Despite containing a half-ounce of silver, their legal tender face value is $2 CAD.

Mintage Variation: While the FSSF series began in 2013, the 2015 version is part of a limited mintage collection highly sought after by both collectors and silver "stackers".
