Is there a high end dupe for this blush?

Is there a high end dupe for this blush?

I love this product, it has the absolute most beautiful finish but mine has broken. I can still use it but have to be very careful not to drop it. Based on the reviews online, breaking seems to be a common issue with this product :(. I’m wondering if anyone knows any other brand of blush that has this amount of shimmer? Thank you!

Product is Essence Soft Baked Blush and this shade is shade 30, Rose All Day.

What breaks my heart the most about this case is

Celeste was just a little girl who joined an online community as a fan of an artist. As an 11 year old, I’m sure we all had musicians, shows, games, etc that we were fans of. And a lot of people look for online communities to share their love for something. She was no different. She had no idea that going into that community as a fan was going to turn her life completely upside down. This monster picked her out and targeted her. He knew she was young. He zeroed in on this little girl to prey on her. To use her, abuse her and manipulate her. Because she was so young and so impressionable. He toyed with her, he did everything he possibly could to string her along. But if that wasn’t enough, he killed her. After abusing her.. he kills her. And if THAT wasn’t enough, after he kills her, he violates her body even in her death. He tears her body apart and leaves her in trash bags and disposes of her like she was nothing.

This man is truly, truly vile and the definition of evil. To do the things he did to anyone is bad enough but to be the type of evil to prey on children. He is absolutely horrific.

She did nothing to deserve what he did to her. He could’ve just left her alone but instead he made her his target. She was nothing more to him than a means to satisfy his sick and twisted thoughts and desires.

I really hope that in her next life this baby has found peace because this one was not good to her by any means. I’m praying that justice is served to highest power for her.

Police identify 2 persons of interest after innocent woman killed at Hammond gas station

Posting this to see if anyone knows whether there’s been any update at all on this case?

I have not heard anything else about it. The last I heard was that they had identified the white vehicle and the license plate and were looking for 2 people of interest. I’ve been trying to follow it in hopes of seeing that they find and arrest the culprits. It’s so heartbreaking and devastating that that poor innocent lady was killed in such a horrifying way, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I really hope she gets the justice she deserves and the two killers AND whoever set up the hit are all arrested and jailed.

Your signature lipstick shade?

If you had to choose just one lipstick that you would consider to be your signature shade what would it be? Have you ever finished a whole tube of it?

After going through my make up there is only one lipstick I’ve used just about half of and I’ve had it for years, and that is Sultry Sienna by Covergirl. I’m currently on the hunt for a very similar shade in a high end lipstick. I love reading about specific shades of lipstick (or make up in general) that people form attachments to. 😊

What would you consider to be your number one lipstick?

Has anyone successfully gotten a refund from the company TrimRX?

Please bear with me, this might be a little long.

On May 29th I signed up to receive a 3 months prescription of tirzepatide. I was under the impression that I was signing up for the 3 month payment plan where I’d be paying around $200 a month for the medication and a prescription for Zofran. This was around 10pm, and according to the site, the order has to go through a physician and a whole process before shipping. Well by 10:30 they had taken over $800 out of my account and apparently the whole process had been completed and the order was preparing for shipment.

Luckily by the next morning it hadn’t shipped yet so first thing in the morning I called the customer service line and requested a cancellation and refund because I was under the impression that I was only signing up for a month to month plan not all 3 months at once.

They agreed to the cancellation and refund and told me they would refund me all but $88 for a cancellation fee. They kept saying they could not give me a timeline on the refund, that it was being processed by the billing department and that the billing department doesn’t have a direct phone number.

I’ve been calling periodically since then because I had yet to get my refund, and I was fortunately able to get ONE representative that finally told me refunds generally take up to 5-7 business days but that before the refund is issued, they will call me. Well tomorrow is the 7th business day and I have yet to receive a phone call from this company.

I tried disputing with my bank but I was told they could not dispute the charge because it was a charge I authorized and disputes are only for fraudulent charges such as if someone had stolen my card.

Has anyone ever successfully received a refund from this company?

Yes I know I should’ve done better research before I placed the order and I definitely have learned my lesson from this. 😞

“Too much” for a teacher appreciation gift?

I’m asking this as a parent and the gift giver. I’m a teacher myself (7 years in elementary) and my 2 older daughters go to school with me, one in Pre K and one in 4th grade. My 4th grader has 2 teachers. For all 3 teachers I created them a basket ($2 white tub from Walmart) that included:

4 pack of their favorite drink

Bag of their favorite chips

Favorite candy

3 pack of pens and hand sanitizer from 5 below

A card

And a composition notebook printed blanket from Amazon ($20)

The blanket was the most expensive thing.

My pre-ker’s teacher was like “oh girl that’s too much!” I was going to get the blankets embroidered but I figured that would be too much and way too expensive, I told my 4th graders teacher that and she was saying it would’ve been too much.

I feel like maybe I went overboard? I’m a gift giver and as a teacher myself I like to give thoughtful gifts I would like to receive but I feel like based on their reactions I did too much. They were grateful but I just felt like they thought it was overboard.

I’m naturally an over-extender and definitely need to work on that. Thoughts?
