Chitranna from Namah Coffee House, Andheri West. Visited after a long time. More than the food I want to appreciate the mimprovement in their service. Earlier I felt like a fish out of water ordering here but now everything is so systematic and stress free now. Much appreciated.

[Homemade] The queen of fishes- Hilsa/Ilish Maach. A fish so good that it releases it's own aromatic oil which is enough to have with a plate of piping hot rice, fried chillies and fish roe.

Just had the first Ilish of the year. While the probashi pocket might have been heavily pinched but the probashi soul is now satisfied and is in a desperate need for bhaat ghum!

Sunday lunch- Tangra Chilli Chicken, Lemon Chicken, Garlic Pepper Prawns, Seafood Fried Rice and Chicken Ramen from Chowman. It was light and good as usual without much spices but I'm confused if it's me who has reduced consumption of salt or suddenly every food in Mumbai restaurants is just too sal

Chai Biskoot Gelato and Salted Butter Caramel from Nuvola Gelato, 7 Bungalows. Both were so good, esp the chai biskoot one. 🤤 Took the small size which was ₹150 each but surprisingly it was very filling. Buttery smooth texture without unnecessary sweetness!

Ordered a rava masala dosa from the newly opened Ruchi Sagar, Marol. Dosa so ridiculously salty, even Bapu came over to protest fearing the British coming to tax the dosa!

Made some quick peanut butter scoopable tin cookies.Initially wanted to order out but everywhere it's ridiculously priced like over ₹800/900 for a small tin so had to do with a homemade one!

Made some Telapia Fish Meuniere for dinner. It's interesting how we mostly use this fish as bone-in pieces in bengali gravies while internationally it's used as a fillet. I think it's a good and cheaper alternative to bhetki fillet as compared to the substandard Basa.

[Homemade] Not a breakfast person, one of those rare days when I woke up early on a Sunday so made a good old toast- boiled anda-kela breakfast with a drizzle of chilli oil and spring onions on the egg. And some iced filter coffee on the side.

A few snaps from The Friends Experience in Mumbai, India.

Had a really good time visiting the Friends Experience that came to India for the first time and happened in Mumbai. I was fully aware of it being a cashgrab and wasn't really expecting much but was surprised as to how well made and detailed the whole experience was. The staff was too sweet, the photographers were clicking photos from our phones along with their official camera and in few places they themselves were asking us to give the phone to make videos like Joey's recliner, etc. Ended the experience with Ross's Moistmaker Sandwich and Phoebe's grandmom's cookie and both were really yum!
