My portable living room system
Two UE hyperbooms in stereo mode, lugged around town via bike. Portable stereo is a game changer. Songs outside finally get to have separation. There is just enough bass to be good without being obnoxious and the mids/highs really get to shine.

Crowds were not a big deal
I was ready for a drunk child apocalypse, but it was actually great. I was there 12pm to 10pm and never saw people cutting, bumping into strangers, being dicks, and the only person I saw spill a drink on someone was when the plant man scared a woman and she tossed her drink on her boyfriend out of shock. Overall a very chill crowd.
I’d definitely recommend outside lands to any music fan.

It’s doable to strap into a backpack, but throwing it in a car to hit up a nice spot is where it’s at. I could have stayed for hours.

My favorite time to be out on the porch
You forget how cramped in you were over the winter when you are suddenly able to comfortably sit outside. A (thankfully windless) 64° evening with the scent of flowers in the air; sitting back with a nice wine. I don’t think it can get any better.

Cherry smoked at 265 for 5 hours (charcoal) with a hour rest before becoming the star of the chili. Perfectly tender bites.
My skin always comes out too tough to eat (tips appreciated) so I skinned it after the smoking and put it in the chili for a while to extract all that flavor.
I’ve also been loving the ease of a pellet tube! No more fires or uneven smoking!
