Hello, I share you my project of modeling the Cathedral of Chartres in France in Rhino.
Hi everyone,
I have some plans with measurements of Chartres Cathedral in France. I’d like to model it for fun, whilst ensuring I stick to the measurements. Do you have any advice on how to go about this to ensure I stick to the measurements? Using blocks, cotations, pattern, ... layers...
Hello, did anyone know how to do that ? For the square to square I Use sweep1 but after I don't know how to get a a surface from a square to a polygon. ?
Hi, I'm brand new to Rhino and I just created this spherical coffered ceiling. I was wondering if you had any feedback on my design, possible optimizations, or areas for improvement...
I start with a hemisphere and generate the equators and meridians of the object. I calculate the intersection of all these curves. This gives me curves that resemble squares or rectangles. I offset them on the surface and extrude these curves in the direction leading from the center of the square to the center of the sphere. Finally, I create the box using a multiple BREP split—which removes a square from the hemisphere for each box.
I'd really appreciate it.
Sorry for my english i'm not very fluent.

Does rhino is scalable far enough to make building as a church for example ?
I mean, i want to decompose the building on multiples solid as structure ( archs, walls, ...) , pilars, ...
I'am a solidworks user with take fun to create 3D models as churches.
Also, is it possible to use grasshopper in this project ? If yes, for which case ?
to make pilars ? ...
Sorry for my english, i'am not fluent enough.
I know that it isn't a software for architecture but I have the same logical system that Solidworks even if constraints are hard to anticapte. I wish show you some architecture stuff made with solidworks.

Hello, I tried to create a scroll from wood picture inspiration in solidworks. I make the trajectory and i want to create a deep pattern with surfaces. But with loft tool. I can't create the pattern. Did anyone have a solution ? Thanks for advince.
Hello, Did anyone know how can I create this repetitive shape of cubes on a curve as shown on the picture ?

Hello, i'm pretty new on blender, coming from solidworks, and i'am searching a way to put bricks texture on archs with some realistic effect . For the time, i had convert triangles to quad, put textures with smart UV project and in UV editing i have this. Did you know how to make realistic bricks jonctions in a arch ? Thanks and sorry for my english. I struggle x:
Hello, I'm having a problem. I want to create a column capital with its moldings. However, the curve of the capital is a bit complex, and as you can see in the images, the moldings aren't uniform. I have two molding profiles and a rail. Do you have any ideas about which tool or approach to use for this problem? Thanks in advance
Hello, i'am new on rhino and i get this first result from curve intersect but after some searches i don't understand how to trim line extension ( picture 2 ). Did anyone know how to do that ? Thanks for advance. Sorry for my english, i'am not fluent
Hello, I'm a beginner in printed circuit board design. I want to create a circuit board with an infrared LED, a microphone, a USB 2.0 connector, and a Raspberry Pi Zero 2Wh, but I'm having a problem. How do I power the Raspberry Pi and the additional circuit? The GPIO pins aren't enough; I need an external power supply. The rpi has a usb port.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm a complete beginner in coding and networking. I'd like to know what you think of my idea: I want to build my own security camera. For this, I have a Raspberry Pi, a camera, a Linux server, and a smartphone. I was thinking of sending the camera's video stream to the central server (Linux). It will act as a bridge and send the video stream to a client (iOS app). Additionally, the server should perform object detection using YOLO and send the coordinates of the objects (rectangles) to the iOS app via MQTT. Thanks for advice
