I just started Maurice, it's really interesting. Monkey King is super fun and a short read.

I am watching King of the Hill for the first time and I am on S07E19 Be True to Your Fool.
I knew that Dale was going to be wearing a dog cone sometime in the episode but this scene just knocked me flat on my ass, I tell you h-wat. I finished watching the episode a couple of hours ago and I still keep giggling everytime I picture Dale in the collar spraying himself with pesticide and spinning on the pavement.
I am on my millionth rewatch and I just noticed that Tobias’ jorts are poking thru the back of his assless chaps 😭😭😭 this show really is the gift that keeps on giving
If you have a copy you're willing to sell, please let me know! thanks
My absolute favourite meal while in Mumbai!

I just love the running gag about Mitchell and his inconsistency about going to the gym. While there are many overt jokes in many episodes, I just caught a little throwaway line in S09E02 "The Long Goodbye", where Cam comes clean to Mitchell about hiding his vision board for the kitchen remodel behind Mitchell's gym clothes in the closet.
"This is a vision board for my dream kitchen I've been hiding behind your workout clothes."
I have lost count of how many re-watches I have done and this is the first time I have noticed this delightful little joke. The later seasons are quite lackluster compared to the first 5-6 seasons, but there are a bunch of super funny moments. Cam and Mitch are the most entertaining people on the show 😂
I am reading the series for the first time and I am just finished with Persepolis Rising. Santiago Singh was a very interesting character but some aspects of him were so annoying. He is so “textbook” in his work that it’s infuriating. His sheer bullheadedness about the people on Medina station not immediately accepting his help seemed so childlike and petulant to me. Also, the really small things - being annoyed by Carrie Fisk putting her coffee on his desk, and approving when Major Overstreet waited for him to take a pastry before reaching for it himself.
Its like he is playing at being an officer in command of a station as compared to actually leading his staff.
