traveling through central asia! need tips!

hello! i am wanting to travel to the kazakhs next year and i am currently planning my route (because i would probably come from china). i want to do the whole country on horseback but I am curious as to how much it would cost to either rent or buy a horse from the locals. i am fluent in russian and ukrainian, and i am also an expert rider. im assuming i can bargain? but does anyone know the price range as to what it would be?

for now, im planning my route to be mongolia to china to all the kazakhs, and maybe if i can get a visa for turkmenistan then there and azerbaijan as well. has anyone done a route like this who can give me an information?

and if anyone knows anything about this stuff for kazakhstan, uzbekistan, tajikistan, kyrgystan as well would be great to know! thanks!

turkmenistan visa

hello! question. i wanted to take a cargo ferry from azerbaijan to turkmenistan, and travel on foot or bus to uzbekistan. is this possible to get a travel visa for? or do i still need the invitation letter that google tells me about?

and also does anyone know actually how difficult it is to get a visa for here? sometimes government websites exaggerate and i would like to know the reality. i carry a ukrainian and american passport i dont know if that makes a difference.

mongolia on horseback!

i am thinking about traveling to mongolia next year, and would like to go from there to china to the kazakhs. does anyone know how much buying a horse would be? i would most likely fly into ulaanbaatar and figure out my way from there. i am also fluent in russian and ukrainian, so maybe this would help a bit?

if anyone has any information please let me know! even in general just travel info etc.

need advice (22f and 23m in on/off rls), am i insane? lol

hi guys. i don't really know how to write this whole story out but i just need to get some stuff off my chest. i (22f) met this guy (23m) through a friend about 2 years ago now. we are gonna call the guy guy btw. me and guy hit it off pretty fast, we instatly bonded, and i started to grow feelings for him. clearly he felt the same way cause like a few days later he sent me a text like "i cant do this anymore cause i like u too much" and like lowkey ghosted him. i ended up telling him i liked him too and i wanted him to stay but he i guess thought i was faking just to keep him close to me? so he like continued to ghost me. i deadahh cried over him TO him for multiple nights in a row (with like 0 response lol) and i was so lost cause who would fake liking someone just for them to stay friends idk. eventually (like 2 weeks later) he texted me this long ahh paragraph saying he likes me and he wants it to work out but hes scared and blah blah blah. mark the start of a 2 year long on and off bullshit war lol. see like i still liked him at the time and i was a little naive girl who just wanted his love. but the rls started off with me begging for him to like me for days and he literally stayed ghost (idk why i even gave him a chance after). but after that it just became this unspoken battle. i did a lot wrong, he did a lot wrong. everytime he would do something that made me upset i would just ghost him and not return his calls for weeks. then id text him and wed go back to being 100%. i remember he used to tell me that when i got him upset, he would get really high and drive his car recklessly and try to die because he hated how i made him feel. so you get the jist- shitty teenage relationship where both parties were just as wrong. now ill be woman enough to admit that i think i did him way worse. idk if hed agree or if anyone would agree but deep down in my heart i know i shouldnt have treated him how i did and i always tried apologizing but it never felt right. so fast forward to last year, we were still on and off, but at one point i had decided enough was enough and i blocked him, like on everything, for good. and its been close to year since then, but something weird has been happening lately. ive been having dreams of him constantly, and not particulary of him but of him texting me, of me in the spots that we used to go to frequently, etc. seeing his car more whatever. then today his friend reached out to me, out of nowhere. we were just chatting and then his friend brought guy up in conversation, and when i didnt say anything to that message (because it was random like "oh yeah guy is doing this now"), his friend got super dry with me and didnt respond again. and you might think im crazy but guy is the type to get a friend to reach out to me to see if i still have feelings, or to shoot some sneak diss shots to see where my heads at lol.

so i guess the advice i need is just how do i stop thinking about him? i dont want him back i can promise you that, i dont miss our relationship and i don't miss how stressed out he made me. but i miss our friendship, and i miss how effortless everything between us was. i wish i could talk to him on the daily as a friend but im well aware that can never happen. but i want to stop thinking of him, and i want to stop seeing signs about him. i was good for a solid 8 months and for some reason everything is coming back like a wave. i dont know if reaching out and saying something is the correct way to go here cause that will open up everything that was happening last year, and also i do journal about this occasionally to release my thoughts about it but i just really wanted external advice cause idk what to do.

tuning

hey guys. im on a powertrain team and i currently work on tuning & engine management. i have a pretty solid knowledge of tune however i want to know more. my team is pretty limited in knowledge and I’ve learned everything I can from the previous people and I’ve kind of watched a bunch of podcasts from HP tuners and try to find whatever information I can, but I was wondering if anybody has anywhere else that I could look. I also have two engine management and performance textbooks that I’ve read through that I know the information in front to back, but I think I could always learn more so if anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.
