Here are some details of my early 70s Redlines that are pretty much my everyday pair.
I heard 70s/80s Redlines are notorious for ripping a lot. This one is no exception. I picked it up pretty much like this some time ago and I plan on keeping repairing them.
I recently found this pair of early 70s Levi’s Orange Tab at the equivalent of the bins but here in Paris.
Even in this condition I decided to pick it up because I like the overall look of it.
Would it be worth spending money to restore it ?

Recently found this windbreaker at the thrift.
I was wondering what year it was made.
Soft and lightweight fabric.
I recently bought this pair and the rivets on it are rusted.
I wanted to ask if anyone had advices on how to clean them a bit without damaging them or staining the fabric ?
I have this Levi’s 502 from the early 70s that I don’t wear.
I’m debating on selling it.
I don’t really know how to price it since I have a hard time finding a similar one on the Internet.

I am looking to buy an original early 60s 557 XX type 3 jacket.
I tried this one on but didn’t buy yet. They ask 2000 € (~2300$)
Didn’t take pictures then but here are the details on their Instagram video :
-big patch, Big E tab
-lemon yellow thread
-bigger collar and curved pocket flaps
-button code 17 (looks the same as on type 2)
-denim is very dark, cropped fit
Only things that looks weird to me is the mention « Every Garment Guarenteed » that I never seen on type 3 before (from online research)
Is this a very early model ? Or a very good fake ?

Linving in Europe, you rarely come across vintage Levi’s « in the wild ». But whether it is in thrift stores, flea markets or online, chances are people here don’t really know much about it.
Here are a few items I was lucky enough to catch… or not. Most of the Time you don’t know what you missed, and I find it kind of comforting…
I am looking to buy a vintage Wrangler 11MJZ and I would like to know how can I be sure I am not looking at a repro ?
Prices online seems to vary quite a bit between 600 and 3k. I assume I will have to pay higher end of that.
What are the differences between them, beside age ?
I’m coming to the US this summer and I would really like to bring back a pair of 50s hidden rivets in my size (W30 L32). Don’t really care about the year, color, or if it has repairs.

Need help identifiying the age of this type III jacket with no tab.
Early care label underneath the patch, orange thread all over the jacket, single stitch next to the bottom button, navy blue bar tacks, factory code 526.
I have big Es but none have navy blue bar tacks and the buttons are kind of different.
Any opinion ?
Looks like a J43 WET that has been dyed green and then faded to a nice pastel color. Cool distressing too.
So, a few days ago I open Vinted and see this Levi’s posted a minute ago for 20 bucks. Looks old, but could be LVC. I buy, and a minute after the person cancel my order. Someone offered 50.
I decided to ask for details (tags, buttons, selvedge) and told this person that they might have a really old pair of jeans, which turned out to be the case.
It was a small pair and I wasn’t sure how much the other guy was willing to pay, so I passed on this one.
End of story, they kept it, someone told them it was worth 1000+ (which I think is too much, but I’m no expert).
How would you have reacted ? Does bidding more on a sold item is fair game ?
