Those are tiny shells! Google image search was no help. Can anyone tell me what it is?
Edit: I did return it to the water, assuming there are living creatures in it.
I was in the pool today and noticed just how beautiful my mani looked under the water. I immediately had to get out of the pool to grab my phone and capture the magic!
This is my first Pride month as a lacquerista, and I loved coming up with different rainbow combinations to show my ally-ship!
I've put myself on a low/no buy (I may allow myself a treat next month for my birthday) until Black Friday. This month has been great for using a bunch of my polishes for the first time in different rainbow manis, but this is the only one that's entirely made up of untrieds! I still have a ways to go to get through them all, but I'm working on it!
I wish I had a different purple flakie, but honestly it looked more purple in the bottle than on my finger! Full product list in the comments!
I got a few of these polishes recently, and figured this was the perfect way to use them! I made it a goal to do only rainbow manis for Pride month before I go on vacation on the 26th, and this is mani #3! It's so fun to look at!

10&11: Polished For Days - Lush over Mooncat - The Avatar State
I received Mooncat's The Avatar State last month, and I've finally gotten around to wearing it! I originally tried topping it with Mooncat's Maelstrom, but it was too opaque and blocked more of the glow than I wanted. I received Polished For Day's Lush a couple of days ago, and knew that it was pretty sheer, so I decided to start over and try Lush as my topper instead. It truly is a match made in heaven! I love the combination of the two! Full product description is in the comments!
This was my first time layering magnetics. I was hoping the shift of the velvet base color would show up more than it does. Does anyone have any favorite magnetic layering combos? Full products listed in the comments.
I got my first ANLAC order in the mail yesterday, and decided to use the teal, Haru, first. I'm so impressed with the fine magnetic particles, and it does look amazingly like a gel mani! There are a few tiny bubbles in the top coat, but I can overlook them because it's such a pretty shade!
I decided to go with a less obvious first choice by choosing Haru, but I really love the subtle orange shimmer in it! All the shades are quite sheer, so I used a similar crelly shade underneath. I did end up with some bubbles in the top coat, but I still think it's beautiful! Full product list in the comments!
Since I started buying and regularly wearing nail polish 9 months ago, I've purchased 115 polishes (not including base and top coats). Before that I hadn't done anything to my nails in maybe a year? Now I'm obsessed, especially with magnetic polishes. They make up maybe 25% of my collection.
With how often I change colors (every 5-6 days on average), the amount of polish I have just doesn't make sense. I know I need to stop purchasing new polishes, yet I keep starting new carts and spend way too much time watching nail videos and browsing Reddit and Instagram.
I'm not sure what I'm trying to get out of this post, except maybe some reassurance that I'm not alone? Thanks, friends!
Also, peep my messed up thumb (I guess I touched it while it was drying or something?) The colors are so pretty I almost don't care! Full product list in the comments!
I've received quite a few new polishes recently, so I decided two were better than one! I really like the contrast of the orange shimmer over the blue/gray. A successful combo!
