I switch from windows to mac and my productivity drop.

has anyone encounter the same?, I use to use the arrow keys to go through photos and edit them on the spot, but I was trying to use apple photos and seems to create duplicate of every photo so I need to delete the original then I need to export them to be able to use them. Maybe I'm not using correctly has anyone who switched from windows to mac had this problem?
