If there's one thing I really hope we get in 4 is a proper race between Sonic and Metal like in CD.

I know people we're disappointed Sonic and Shadow didn't get the chance to do a proper race scene together, but I was fine with it cause the movie already had a lot going on.

But they NEED to do a race between Sonic and Metal. I can def see it being in the trailers as the main selling point.

So after all the possible leaks, confirmed facts, etc. How we all feeling about Sonic 4?

Me? I'm...causitously optimistic.

This film def could still be a lot of fun and creative, and I'm very excited to see Metal Sonic.

But I'm also worried about some aspects.

Mainly Amy and Ivor.

With Jim Carrey returning as the villain again (and yes it has been confirmed to be the same robotnik) I am VERY worry they will cheapen the ending of 3 by bringing him back.

Along with that, I'm worried on how Amy will be handled. I really hope they can make her stay true to her character without making her a "girl boss" like with Peach in the Mario movies.

I hope they can capture what made Amy likable without making her a simp too.

I also do worry about her potentially being from the future, as we know that's Silver's thing. Along with the cast being a lil too big now.

It doesn't help the 4th installment of a franchise almost never becomes good.

So, I am worried about some stuff but I do believe in Jeff Fowler and the team as long as they're caredul and don't play safe.

There's a lot of evidence of Amy being from the future or not, and I wanna know what you guys think if she is or not.

Me, I'm 50/50 on this.

On one hand, it does make sense with the Metal Sonics. If they came from the future, it would make sense for Amy to also as well to get Sonic's help. Along with tons of leaks saying so.

But on the other hand...what about Silver?

Jeff Fowler has said he wants to add Silver into the movie canon one day, but it be really weird to do that if Amy is here to add into the "I'm a future thst needs help" story.

So maybe if Amy isn't from the future, she's from Sonic's home planet and used her fortune telling powers to see what will happen?

Who knows, we'll have to wait in and see.

I have faith in Jeff Fowler and the writing team though.

Kind of a detail I'm suprised I haven't thought of (and mad at myself for lmao) is the fact all of the seven Chaos Emeralds are in the teaser.

Obviously the chaos emeralds have always been a huge part of the franchise, but judging by the teaser ot does seem like they'll be playing a huge role in the 4th film.

Kinda something I feel dumb for not thinking about lol.

This is something I fully believe with Bear.

I don't think he would had try and fix things if he threw up the pills and if Wish Nikkie didn'tmake her wish. Even as someone as delusional and dumb as Bear he, even he realizes there was no going back after the death of his friends.

So, what do I think he would have done if he threw up the pills? Simple.

He ditch Nikki like the coward he is.

The one thing we know about Bear is that he can't take accountability for his actions, always blaming things in Nikki for being "creepy". Even though he knows he may the wish in the first place.

He's scared of facing the consequences of his actions, and desperately tries to fix things for his own benefit rather than saving Nikki.

But after Sarah and Ian were killed, he knew there was no coming back. So, he tried to kill himself to escape the law. Of course though, we saw him trying to throw up the pills out of fear of death.

But Bear can't really fix this cause Nikki is too far to make her do the wish. So, with two dead friends and a house filled with cash. He would 100% abandon Nikki to get away from the cops, leaving her to deal with the consequences.

I fully believe Bear would have tricked Nikki into thinking he would be right back to go somewhere, maybe take some of the money from Ian's house and flee the town.

Begging for the police or Nikki to never find him.

Do I think he would have gotten away? Who knows, but I do believe he would attempt this. It fits into his cowardly personality and shows how uncaring he is for others. He did everything for himself.

And he'll throw Nikki under the bus to save his own skin too.

And again, this is also if Wish Nikki didn't make her wish.

Something recently came to my mind and I feel like its very likely considering what we know (and now little) about Sonic 4.

We know Amy Rose will be a major character in the film, and it's very likely Sonic and her are going to get together in the film. It was stated awhile back for 4, that Sonic is "growing up" still, and getting new feelings and emotions.

Sonic 4 has been confirm to be the biggest film yet, getting an imax release. Showing how big of a film this will be. Along with that, the film hasn't been leaked of any set pieces like the previous films. This shows the movie is going to lean even more into the cgi than the last films.

I think the biggest thing though is, Ivor returning. In the panel awhile back in Cinemacon, a snippet of footage was shown of Ivor somehow surviving the explosion and saying "Robotnik saves the world!" after he stumbles out of a space ship somewhere.

From the sound of it, he didn't land on earth. In fact, it sounded like he landed on a different planet like in 2. So, maybe his goals will be to rule a whole new planet (presumably where Amy is from) with his Metal Sonic army.

Considering all of this, i think I have a theory on how Sonic 4 will end.

What if 4 ends with Team Sonic leaving earth and saying goodbye to Tom and Maddie to go on new adventures on this new strange planet in order to stop Ivor in the future. If they don't do another fake out with him and decide to keep him alive, I don't see him returning to earth. Most likely, he'll retreat to another planet.

And with Sonic now finding love with Amy, Robotnik is out there in space, and knowing earth is finally safe Team Sonic decides to leave Earth and go live on this new planet that leans more into the games.

Jeff Fowler has also confirmed he would love to have the human characters finally leave the movies so they can start doing fully cgi animated Sonic films, and I think 4 has the chance to open the door to those possibilities.

What do you guys think?

As excited as I am for 4, I am extremely worried about how they're going to habdle certain aspects, mainly with Jim Carrey returning as Robotnik.

If this is suppose to be the same Ivor from the last films, (which is seeminly so) I am very worry they will cheapen the ending of 3. Bringing him back after such a good book end to his story in 3 just feels like a terrible idea, and I really hope they find a way to make it work withoug regressing his character arc with Stone.

Alao, a proper explanation on how the hell he survived the explosion lol.

Been kinda thinkingnabout doing my own reboot of Land of the Lost, especially with Netflix developing one of their own.

I would want this verison of to have scientifically accurate dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures. I'd love to explore more of the Sleestaks history and what happened to them in my take, along with other villains and characters like the Zarn.

Another cool idea is to show past history of other people who arrived in the Land of the Lost, anicent cities that were built by them that got left in ruins aftee they were long forgotten.

I'd also would want to explore more of the Land of the Lost's past and how it was made into existence with the pylons, crystals, etc.
