im currently stuck in a triple on the 17th floor of fox, should i just swap to a quad or wait and see if ill get lucky and find a double (somewhere else)?
Im 18 now and im going to start college in the fall. im currently on masshealth and have been for the majority of my life. will I be able to stay on masshealth while I go to college and waive the schools health insurance?
i got assigned the second day to get a dorm (im a freshman) and literally the ONLY option was fox hall. i randomly picked a room on floor 17 bc there was only triples and quads, and that was one of the like two triples open. i heard it gets worse the higher up you are but i had barely any choice, even though i logged in as soon as it opened only the high floors of fox were left. I’m gonna try to room swap when i can.
im trying to pick my dorm rn and for some reason its only showing fox hall. i got assigned the second day but is there really a chance that all of the other dorms got filled? I literally logged in as soon as it opened
if I took note of the dates of my upcoming trip on my application (ds-11), will they take those into consideration in any way? especially if its soon?
McDonalds is my first job ever. I had my 5th shift on Sunday and all they've really taught me was how to do fries and drive thru. I was wondering, how long does it usually take for someone to get used to working there and multitasking and stuff? when im doing fries im never fast enough, and when im doing drive thru I need someone there to help me the entire time because sometimes I can barely tell what the person is saying, or I can't do both cash and taking orders at the same time during a rush. I just don't want to drag the rest of them down.
idk if this sounds stupid but if we just go the random roommate route (like don't end up in a roommate group or find one), will we be able to to see their names and get into contact with them over the summer or will we literally not meet them until we move in?
I turned 18 this year, but I never got around to getting a drivers license or state id. i applied for my first passport today but as an 18 year old i had to have one of those as id. my parents were there so my dad filled out a form that says he vouches that i was born in the us (i think its called a ds-71 or something) and he showed his license. Is there any chance my passport application will be rejected because i didn’t have my own id?
edit: also i brought secondary id with me (my permit, social security card, and school id), but she didn’t want to accept my permit because it said “not valid for identification“ (cuz it wasn’t a real id), yet she still accepted the application so im confused and super anxious if its gonna work
i was gonna use comparison as a literary device for the frq1 and somehow my IDIOT LEGAL ADULT SELF forgot whether similies or metaphors used like or as. i picked metaphor bc i hear abt it more but its literally simile, do you think the grader will care a lot 😭
