I live in two cities, this is my secondary workstation and I’ve always wanted a nice setup to work for hours. I’ve never had the need for external monitors so far, but I might buy in the future. Yeah, I added photographic style to make it a bit more aesthetic. Share your thoughts :)

How to check Apple Neural Engine (ANE) usage while running models?
Hi,
I'm building AI applications and I do development/testing on my M5 MacBook Pro. I can see, whenever I'm using AI, my RAM and my GPU usage starts going high, which is expected. But I want to use the Apple Neural Engine (ANE) to my advantage for faster performance. I run models through Ollama or from LMStudio so far, when I observed in mactop, they seem to use GPU only, and the ANE usage is 0.
My questions:
- Am I really using ANE without my knowledge, but mactop shows it wrong?
- If mactop is correct, and if I am actually not using ANE, which LLM runner is optimized for MLX ? I heard Ollama recently supports MLX, so it should have taken advantage, right?

MacOS Customization - Kanagawa Dragon Theming
New MacOS user here! As much as I’m enjoying Apple Silicon for development, I had to spend some time getting the theming right. So, I went for a full system-wide setup with Kanagawa Dragon palette.

Hi,
I’m streaming Udemy Business from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro via AirPlay.
The issue: AirPlay forces my Mac into Full Screen mode. I need it in a resizable window so I can code and take notes side-by-side on the same screen.
Is there a way to force AirPlay into "Windowed Mode" on macOS, or a simple app that allows this?

Finally, after so much delay in delivery, got this beast in hand. Definitely, a huge leap from the Dell Inspiron i7 2018. Hopefully the machine would assist me in my journey towards my career change to an AI Engineer. 🤩

I placed my order for laptop as i had corporate discounts on flipkart. I think i may have made a really bad decision. The order came to Bengaluru today but keeps revolving around the center. Where is Motherhub BLR located? i may just go and collect it myself if possible. anybody have any idea?
but for sure, lesson learnt, i am never buying in flipkart AGAIN
