Rehome | Aus to Aus

ETA - sorry, just noticed I wrote 2027 on my lD note instead of 2026! 😹 I’m up to my neck in wedding planning for next year so I’m mentally already in 2027 😅

Hi ladies,

Rehoming the following within Aus:

• Lindy 26 - bought from TS Mia and paid USD $380 (roughly AUD $540) I used it a handful of times and it has been a bit squished in my bag storage cupboard, but it’s in otherwise great condition. Selling for AUD $300 including shipping with tracking and signature on delivery.

• Ch@nel lanyard/card holder - Also bought from TS Mia and I paid USD $80 (about AUD $115). Did lightly use it for my work pass on my office days for a couple of months, but it’s in lovely condition. Selling for AUD $50 including shipping with tracking and signature on delivery.

Please check my post history - you can see I have successfully rehomed a number of bags before. I will only accept PayPal friends and family, to lower the risk of being scammed, and will prioritise selling to accounts with post history visible. I can also share my eBay account where I sell my auth items and you can see my feedback on there for peace of mind if you like :)

DM if interested or for more pics 🫶

Help finding a close dupe!

Hi ladies - I’ve been desperately trying to find this Monique Lhuillier Brie dress on the preloved market (or even on other sites) but it’s impossible to find in my US 6-8 size (besides on the official ML website but their international orders are final sale. I can’t risk AUD $5k non-exchangeable on a dress that might not fit or look good in person 🥲).

I managed to source the matching cape on net-a-porter, so am now hoping to find a beautiful dupe to wear with the cape for the same effect, for my civil ceremony. I’ve tried google lens but haven’t seen anything suitable or similar.

Located in Australia, budget is up to AUD $4k (which is about 2700-3000 USD? Not keeping up with the exchange rate 😅). Wedding is likely June or July 2027 (TBC), so I have time! 🙏❤️

Rehome - Large Ferragamo Hug | AU to AU

Large Ferragamo Hug Bag
Factory: undisclosed, via TS Mia
Condition/quality: Used a handful of times for work. There are some small hairline scratches on the gold feet, and a small mark on front hug clasp (minimal). The leather has softened ever so slightly which is nice (perfect mix of structure and slouch). Very roomy - fits a laptop no worries, and easily the best replica I’ve bought.
Reason for selling: Moving overseas in a few months and need to downsize ahead of time. Selling anything I don’t use super frequently.
Asking price: AU $670 plus shipping (this is less than what I paid Mia).

I can provide my eBay link for assurance (I sell a lot of regular/auth items and have great feedback from buyers). :) Please DM if interested or if you have any questions/need more photos. Thanks!

❌ All bags now sold, thanks so much for your interest ❤️❌

Hi ladies. This is my first time rehoming and I’m quite nervous about the risk of scammers doing PayPal reversals etc. so will only consider buyers with rehome history or a solid post history :)

On my side, I can send you my eBay details as I have been selling (authentic!) items on there for years and have amazing feedback history. Will consider face to face drop off/pick up if you are in Perth!

As with any preloved deals, once the bag has been posted no refunds. I’ll only ship with signature on delivery to ensure it gets to the recipient.

Shipping with be a flat $30 for all of these and if it’s much less than that when I take the bags to the post, I will refund you the difference. If it’s more I’ll absorb the cost.

Bags:

Vintage Chanel Spiral with Sunburst Closure
Factory: BLAKE
Condition: Never used but has some scratches on the press stud closure where it looked like a protective plastic sticker and I tried to (unsuccessfully) peel it off.
Price: AU$500 plus shipping (slightly less than what I paid after currency conversion and shipping with BaseTao).
Includes: Comes with dustbag - no box. ~~~~sold~~ ❌

Loewe Flamenco in Clay/Beige Colour with gold donut chain sold
Factory: JiPin via TS Mia
Condition: Never used, great condition with no flaws to report

The crème de la crème!~~ ~~Large Ferragamo Hug Bag
Factory: Undisclosed, via TS Mia
Condition: STUNNING quality, soft burgundy leather inside. Used a handful of times and the only real signs of use I can find are some small hairline scratches on the gold feet and a mark on front hug clasp (minimal). Leather/shape has softened slightly which is nice. Lovely condition.

Please DM if you have questions, or for more photos of each if interested!

So I am really keen on getting a Celine triomphe Canvas bag (not sure on the exact model yet but I have my eye on a few), but I’m struggling to work out which factory produces this the closest to authentic.

Here’s my understanding so far, but I’d love to hear from anybody who has ordered the canvas before and had the opportunity to compare it to the auth. I spend a lot of time in Paris so I feel like I need to make sure I get the closest match possible (those terrace girls in the Marais scare me haha).

Black Frame: Rumoured to be the best for Celine in general, but my understanding is they’re not producing anymore.

Captain/JXG: The new “go to” factories for Celine. I haven’t read any reviews on their canvas replicas specifically though, as I think leather replicas and printed canvas are two different ballgames. Really keen to hear anybody’s experience with these two.

Pomegranate: I found one person’s post comparing their pomegranate Celine canvas to auth and it looked spot on, but both of my TS don’t seem to source Celine from them

Duty Free: One seller sent me pictures from duty free and quoted me a higher price than if I got a bag from JXG. I know duty free is meant to be one of the best for LV so am wondering if that means their expertise in LV canvas translates to high end replication of the Celine canvas too?

I’m feeling a bit lost at this point ladies! Any thoughts and experiences would be appreciated 🙏

For some context: I’m 37F, so if I want to have children, the clock is ticking quite loudly now (which I resent, but the biological clock isn’t going away sadly!).

So I was never a “I want to be a mummy” kid growing up. All I was interested in was drawing and writing and dreaming about a cool career. From about age 7, I said I didn’t want to have children, and I had zero interest in dolls or playing house like a lot of other kids. I thought those baby born dolls that could pee were kind of gross 😂 You get the idea!

I became a bit more kid-neutral as I grew up/entered my twenties (no longer a “never” but certainly not a “yes”)… and this crossroad only came to the forefront of my mind entering my mid/late thirties (because it’s unavoidable).

The thing is, despite my neutrality… when I was single, I noticed that when I saw guys on dating apps that explicitly stated “don’t want children”, I would swipe no. So I think there must be a small part of me that did/does want the option.

I’d really love to hear from anyone who grew up with the same “eh” feeling towards having children, and ended up doing it. How do you find parenthood? How has your identity changed? Are you happy?

ETA: I’d also like to hear from anyone in the same boat as me! How are you feeling if you’re in that critical “tick, tock” window of your life (not quite the same as the TikTok window 😅)
