Ain't This Model Meant To Go To 140w??

I am trying to reach out to others with the same device since I cannot find jackshit online.

So the specs if you haven't bothered to read whats on the images (which is fair it's tiny text)

If you have a i7-14650HX + 5070 Ti combo please run a benchmark and see if it peaks above 140w draw when everything is set to performance.

And for the tech experts. One of the main reasons I bought this laptop is because in the spec sheet it was listed to have a TGP of 115w+25 boost. Right now it seems to only have a draw of 100+15w. Which Is why i'm so fucking confused. I don't think it is normal either because support has already taken 4 business days with their specialist team and there seems to be no response.

Extra info for copy paste accessibility:

Ain't This Model Meant To Go To 140w???

I'm so fucking confused.

HP Omen 16 5070 Ti, i7 14650HX. 2025 model

System SKU C8KU8PA#ABG

Anyone else got this model can you just tell me the TGP of your GPU? Because I am pretty sure the spec sheet for this says 115w+25w dynamic boost if i'm not mistaken.

At least it runs cool I guess. BUT MY FRAMES. I NEED that extra 10%.

Thank you for your time.

Feel free to ask for any more info that I so might have happened to leave out by accident.

THIS IS WITH BOOST WORKING. THE GPU IS GOING 100+15 rather than the specified 115 + 25. I Wanna know WHY. And if this is happening for others with the exact same model.

For all you still thinking boost ain't working these are the results when Furmark is running.

Lefty --> Righty

So I'm transitioning to my right hand. Neatness has pretty much been matched, but speed is much slower. Any ambidextrous folk who would like to share some tips?

How Does The ACL Work??

At what point does the ACL "major failure" for products become an actual point which you can use to either get a replacement or refund?

For my example: I bought this laptop (worth about 4500) around 4 months ago. I had to get the keyboard replaced because it stopped working for a few keys and it is having graphics issues (screen tearing, fragmentation, artifacts) on games as well as the GPU being capped at 115W max due to a mix of software errors from HP updates and windows being windows. And I am seeing a decent bit of browning of the charger which is a bit concerning. As well as a few other issues that support said was most likely due to software issues that are common in some of their models.

So at what point is this considered a major failure and how to differetiate? And for the laptop I am fine with warranty but I would much better like a replacement because this thing has been spouting troubles left and right for a while now.

Umm. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON

This is on my pretty new hp omen 16. Its got a 5070 ti (i7-14650HX) and I bought it brand new.

Issues:

  1. WHERE IS MY BLOODY GPU
  2. Can't change brightness
  3. Nvidia is tweaking

Restarting ain't fixing it.

I've just commented additional information which is very related

Please check it.

To the geniuses of reddit.

Please solve my issue.

I have zero clue on what sleeve to get for my laptop. I would like something that keeps it safe. I don't care how much it costs, since it will most likely cost far less than the repairs for this expensive brick once I inevitably fumble and drop it.
I am based in Australia if that helps.

THANK YOU

Laptop is an HP Omen 16 2025 model.

Budget: as much as it takes

Country: Australia

Use case: Laptop longevity??

Preferred Specs: I dunno, durable?

Notes: Must work.
