She will graduate in spring of ‘29 so we have time. She wants to get out of our conservative home state so it looks like out of state tuition or private college will be the only US options. Some of the schools she is interested in are $90,000 a year or more which is obvious insanity. We would qualify for financial aid but we’re still looking at $30,000 a year for 4 years. (This is likely how much it would cost if she stayed in state as well). All this to say it’s extremely expensive.

University College is appealing because it’s in Europe, there are housing options for most of the programs, classes are taught in English, and it’s 3 years instead of 4 like the US. She’d have to get her master’s degree eventually, so maybe some of the money we save going to UC could be put toward that.

The above is my current train of thought but of course I may be missing something big. Any insight? Additionally, does anyone know if US universities accept 3 year bachelors for their master’s programs? Thank you!

ETA: many people are saying housing is impossible to find but most University Colleges have student housing. Some require that you stay in their housing. (So unless I’m missing something big, housing won’t be an issue).

Since early June I’ve been weaning off my 10mg of lexapro. I’ve been taking them since being diagnosed with postpartum depression 14 years ago.

For two weeks I took 5 mg daily, then two weeks of 5mg every other day. Now I’m taking 2.5 mg every other day.

I feel cross-eyed. My ears feel full/like I need to constantly pop them. I have a headache.

Should I just keep going at this rate? I am taking grad school classes and I feel like I can’t read without getting a headache. Is there anything that can help me feel somewhat normal?

it looks like I’ll be getting annual transvaginal ultrasounds due to a cyst on my ovary that was found last year. After the first ultrasound I got a yeast infection and chalked it up to a coincidence. I just had another, a year later, and once again got a yeast infection.

Do they use regular, water based lubrication, or is there something else? I’m just curious if there’s something I’m reacting to or if it’s just messing up my PH.

hello all! I came upon this group and was guided to a site with book PDFs. I sent the pdf to my kindle via the kindle email’s address but the font is so tiny and it doesn’t look like I can increase the font at all.

Im assuming y’all aren’t reading books in tiny lettering, what am I missing?!

SOLVED: simply put “convert” in the subject line of the email and it makes it fit properly on your kindle.

I’ve got a rising sophomore who struggles with motivation to practice. Does anyone have suggestions? Is there a book she could follow along with that progresses through things? Perhaps there is an app that could tell her what to work on and she could track her progress with? she’s been playing for 3.5 years. Thanks!!

I’m trying to convince a friend to read romance, specifically reverse harem. Problem is. she is a writer (journalist) so it’s got to be well written. what’s a minimum 3/5 spicy that’s got a good story and is well written?

If there isn’t a RH that fits the bill, any well written romance will do. I need to change her life!
