How body make goo when no goods no more. Science?

I'm rewatching Homicide: Life on the Street for the first time in awhile, and am struck by how sweaty everyone is, at least in the early seasons. It makes sense, Baltimore is hot, A/C in the 90s, particularly in public buildings, was hit or miss, everything is very emotionally charged.

What are some comparably sweaty shows? Dexter comes to mind, which again makes sense as it's set in Florida.
