Free McDonald’s

It’s that time of year again, McDonald’s Monopoly is going on.

Last year, I ordered free food for 10 redditors who messaged me taking me up on my offer. Here’s the post.

As of right now I only have a couple McGriddles sandwiches. I will add more through the month!

How it works: DM me (when your mcds is serving breakfast)

I’ll tell you what your choices are.

You pick, and send me the address of the McDonald’s you can pick up at.

I place the order and Mcds gives me a counter pickup code that you need to pick up the food!!

I also need an estimated time you’ll arrive so I can “check in” on the app.

If you don’t have access to Reddit while moving, you have to wait til I give you the code before you head to Mcds or they won’t give you the food.

I can only place one order every 15 minutes. Unless that has changed that’s how it was last year.

I picked up 2 junk hobies and combined them. I had never sailed.

First splash of my refurbished Hobie. I don’t actually know how to sail but I did stay at a holiday inn last night watch a lot of YouTube videos (shoutout to JoyriderTV!)

As far as I know, she sailed really well. Handled the wake from other boats smoothly and I didn’t even get wet. There wasn’t much wind more-so just gusts but I made it across and back a dozen times on my first two outings.

I need a new halyard wire this one has a little kink in it which makes getting the sail all the way up kind of difficult. But other than that I have $1,200 into everything and that includes the tabs, trailer, and a trolling motor that was on the other junk boat. I have lots of extra parts and wires and the trapeze stuff. I replaced all the lines sheets?

I’m obsessed. I already want to go back out tomorrow. My plan was to take Sailing 101 but I have to spend a weekend 2 hours from home to do it and I couldn’t make it work this summer.

Happy to finally be an official member 🤗

Cabo Pulmo in November

I did search the group first - trying to decide what to bring, drysuit or 7mm? Wet/dry gloves allowed?

Are there any occasions which a 5mm or 3mm would be appropriate? We may also do an afternoon snorkel.

I’m still in the planning stages but I feel like I’ve messaged the resort enough for one week so if you have any tips or sites I should earmark, I appreciate it.

Also, what are the odds I might see a whale shark? If you did, let me know!

New post same question but more details

Please help me pick an E bike for my teenage daughter and I do specifically want a bike for her as pedal assist is the adaptive feature that she needs due to her disability and resulting fatigue.

She can ride a two wheel pedal bike but she’s unable to go any meaningful distance on a family bike ride. Sometimes the roads we are on are gravel until we make it to the trail. Usually we don’t make it that far.

She does not want a trike as that makes her feel singled out in respect to being disabled. So I’m looking at fat tire or larger ones at least for added stability.

I am looking at the Class 1 or 2 bikes. I am unsure if the thumb throttle would be useful at any time so I hate to discount it.

We have looked at a Townie Go and Trek Verve. She will need a step through and a basket for carrying medical items. It’s a large expense so I want to be sure she will love it or should we go another direction altogether!?

PS if she had her way I’d be buying her a dirtbike that she doesn’t quite have the faculties to operate.

Thank you!

Bike shopping

I am looking at the Aipas C1 bikes and I wanted to ask what 0-5 PAS was. Is that different levels of pedal assist? The bike is for my teenager and I would prefer that she has to kind of shift to increase the speed on pedal assist.

Also if you have other brand recs please share. We also are looking at an Electra Townie or a trek Verve. I can’t keep anything straight they’re all a starting to blur together. We have been to the local bike shop but honestly the young man was not much help.

135 bucks to 10 grand

Caught this wave

$135(yes, dollars) to $10k. Pure luck. Max could have been $45kish but I left for Montana and didn’t wanna hold without cell service so I sold it. Would have closed at just over $12k I think.

This is my biggest swing so far. Fuckin YOLOing it next week. I love SPY

EDIT: I was kidding about the yolo I withdrew $8k and will set aside some more for taxes. That just doesn’t sound as fun though.

(Ps if anyone cares, I’m a woman)

Having an actual spiritual awakening in Montana

Wow I’m at a loss for words. What is this magical place and how is this my first time here? For the record I’m near west glacier. I don’t think it gets much better. If I believed in heaven it would be right here.

That’s all.

Good night, folks.

Found this little bible in German I would love more information.

Well, I don’t speak German, but it appears to be a Bible. I have done absolutely zero research on it. I just snapped these pictures and set it aside.

A/C Electrical Help

2095 Fleetwood Southwind (currently plugged into 50amp)

Two AC units; zone 1 and 2

Zone 2 was working fine, zone 1 would turn on but not ‘kick’ on. Just blowing air. Swapped in new capacitors, wasn’t that. Bought new a/c unit (Coleman Mach) which the guys at the Wholesale Center, cross referenced and said would just plug and play well it doesn’t because the wiring harnesses don’t match.

Pictured is the wiring harnesses, original and then new one you can see they don’t align. Gonna swap in the old harness I guess.

QUESTION: does anyone have a color coded map, will the colors swap straight? Any help would be appreciated.
