[IWantOut] 19m Dubai->Bangkok/Panama City/Kuala Lumpur/Singapore/Mexico City

Hi guys, I was pretty confused on where I should go and I thought you guys could offer me advice.

I’m a 19 year old (online) business owner who makes around 5-10k usd consistently every month. I want to leave Dubai because I think I’ve spent enough time in this place, and I want out. Not to mention I’m not exactly fond of the culture here. I want a fresh start.

I should note I also hold Indian citizenship, but I’ve been born and raised up in Dubai. I would go back to India, and it’s not a bad place, but I don’t feel like I belong there. I don’t wanna build my life over there, and I’d like to generally stay away from my family there. I speak fluent English, and I’m prepared to learn the language of whichever country I’m going to.

One of the main things I don’t wanna face is racism, discrimination. I want to be accepted as a normal person, who isn’t discriminated against for something I could not choose, I.e my skin colour. I want to go to a place where I can be normal, where I can make friends, date, etc without being discriminated against. I also don’t want to go to a place where the politicians actively hate my existence. For what it’s worth, I didn’t face any outright discrimination or racism in Dubai, though there are subtle hints of it. But I can handle that. Social integration is the most important.

Also, I’d like to prefer somewhere that’s a city. It’s not a requirement, but it’s my own dream to own a comfortable studio in some high rise building. I am very much in love with these types of places, maybe because of where I was raised up in. Obviously, I’d prefer taxes also not being sky high. I can live with around 35%, but yeah i wouldnt want anything above 50%. But again, they’re not as important as social integration.

I was looking at Bangkok/ Panama City/ all the other options mentioned above, but if you guys have any advice on where else I could go, it would be appreciated. I largely believe USA and most of Europe is not what I’m looking for, and maybe somewhere multicultural would be amazing.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Pro AI, debate me on anything

I’m a pro AI person, very strongly so. I believe AI is going to be very prevalent in our future, and I strongly support that. Furthermore, I believe it is going to be humanity’s salvation in the future. I believe it will bring us to the next level in our civilisation

I understand there are a few problems with AI currently (or the external factors of it), and I’m willing to accept that. However I’m fully pro AI, and want to accelerate its development no matter what. Anti, please send me your points and I’ll try to give a logical point to it.

Crypto in the future?

Hi guys, I was currently planning to start a few crypto projects, as well as start investing in crypto seriously now. I had a few questions and was wondering if they could be answered over here, as I’m genuinely curious.

How would AI affect crypto, especially with the current AI bubble? Would crypto decline along with the bubble getting popped?

Would quantum seriously affect crypto currency and the blockchain in the future?

How would the current situation with USA’s high debt to gdp and the Japanese bailout affect crypto?

And lastly, would crypto be more popular in the future, or is it declining? I mean usage of stable coins as well as btc eth and etc, and the amount of people that hold them? I was thinking in 5-10 year time frame. Thanks a lot.

Immortality as a viable personal long term end goal?

I’ve always been interested in what the future entails ever since I read several books (such as physics of the future and homo deus, plus a few others, and various other pieces of media such as cyberpunk, upload, and etc.) as a kid. I’m 18 now, and I’ve always been thinking about immortality and then living in the far future and seeing the stars, but I wasn’t sure about it. After the pandemic and seeing Ai having explosive growth, I’ve been thinking about it a lot more.

I’d also not be wishing for immortality per se, I’m pretty sure if something like that happens my memories and brain would be cooked or something. But that’s a can of worms for a later time. After living a decent 100 Years or so, id like to try and live in simulations, due to my own personal beliefs of the meaning of life being about the experiences you face. Maybe one life as a great emperor, like napoleon or Caesar, and then maybe as a farmer in the Stone Age? The possibilities are endless, and that’s what makes it interesting to me. Of course, this is an example, and things could change, but this another desire of mine but I’d not say it’s a core long term goal like immortality. But still important.

I’m pretty sure that this would need tons of money, which is why I’d also try for that as a medium and long term goal. But like I said, that would be a conversation for another time.

TLDR: is immortality a viable end goal for a young adult right now?

Anyone doing PG LAW / LLM internationally after Ug in India?

Hey guys, I’m a student currently doing BA LLB in India from a decent NLU. I was looking into either UK (KCL) or going to Singapore (NUS), however any decent college outside India would be fine. I’m currently a first year student, and I wish to apply for pg outside India after ug in India, however, the process seemed a bit confusing. Would you guys know anything about it? If so let’s talk
