Put away folded laundry from yesterday!
Cleared off the laundry chair!
You know, the chair 🫠

So, the earliest possible appointment at the dealership (for an oil change and some other stuff) is at the end of the month.
Is that too far off? I don't want to damage my poor car.
$10 at Value Village. I think that's a faint/ugly T behind the 10K, and there's some bubbling on the other side that makes me think it's probably plated.
That, and it's light as a feather. I've had 10k jewelry before, and this weight feels off.
But I like it, whether it's 10K or 0K 😅
Jumbo because he fat and Dr. put him on a diet that of course he dislikes.
Man, it looks so much nicer now.
Feels like cheating, tbh. I've been meaning to do the dishes, so they don't pile up, but I kept procrastinating, and here we are.
Oh well. Not by hand like I planned, but at least I can see the bottom of the kitchen sink now.
So it wouldn't start. Battery charged up, so it's not that. Gassed up, too, not that either.
It needed oil!
So I looked up what kind it needed, bought it and voila!
(The mowing belt thingy slipped off halfway, so I had to hop off of it and pop it back in place, too.
But that's not the first time - that's for future me to figure out a more permanent fix)
Go me!
I only did half an hour or so after work, but I did some!
Now watch them come back over the next few days 🙄
I honestly didn't want to, but we had torrential rain yesterday, and they were so easy to pull I had to.
Just pillowing on mom 😴
When I did my pre-purchase research, I kept seeing reddit threads about people transporting couches and other big items with it.
Because (I thought) my second-row seats don't fold all the way down, I always just used bungee cords to strap the big things as tightly as possible. I thought the second row only slightly tilts forward, and so, most big things just lean and slide against the incline it creates.
That's what the straps on the side are for! I waded through a bunch of Googling that only talked about the third row (which folds easily), and when I pulled the straps, the second row flops down FLAT!

The life of a freeloader 😴
Novice homeowner, old house. I don't think that's supposed to be like that. Is it?
And who/what trade do I call to fix it that won't charge me a fuck-you price?
I can't afford a new roof right now.
