Arroyo Simi running
Are anyone here who run at the Arroyo Simi Greenway? Is it safe for runners as it's used by bikers too? Is it OK to bring kids for shorter jogs? Tanks in advance.

I'm surprised that they skipped the LA.live show and put the down under one first. I wonder why.
In the recent episode they talked about orthorexia nervosa, the border line eating disorder, obsessive disorder focused on eating only "pure" or "healthy" foods. You know how they talked about people feeling sick, their stomachs turning, about to vomit after eating "dirty" food. This reminds me of some Muslims' views about pork. We grow up being indoctrinated into thinking that pork is so dirty, so unhealthy. Even a small piece will make you sick so it's "haram" (forbidden). I know people who would go vegetarian when they visit a non-muslim country to avoid accidental exposure. Even some of my friends, who aren't religious, would claim that when they tried pork it made them sick for a day or so. I know people who would eat a pork product happily without knowing there pork and would immediately feel sick after they learned there was pork in it. These are the manifestations talked about in the show, but of course DSM, or any other diagnostic manual, can't categorize this behavior as part of the spectrum because the disorder has to manifest outside the cultural norms. Another way religions arbitrarily mess people up without any consequences...
Just wanted to kind of vent I guess. I missed on so much good BBQ before I realized I was also in the spectrum 😅😉
"An independent range test run on the same road, on the same day, at the same speed has found Rivian‘s R2 Performance covering 76.7% of its EPA-rated range while a Tesla Model Y Performance exceeded its own.
.....
The R2 travelled a corrected 253 miles against a 330-mile rating. The Model Y covered 317.8 miles against 306 miles, finishing 3.9% beyond the figure on its window sticker.
......
Out of Spec published a separate efficiency comparison of the same two vehicles earlier this week, finding the R2 consuming between 18.4% and 26.5% more energy than the Model Y at every speed measured."

I have no affiliation with them but I own a Y.
I learned how to drive a stick shift but then many people now can't drive a manual car because they learned how to drive on an automatic. I wonder how it'll be for the next gen or maybe the one after. For example, my kid will learn how to drive on an EV. Some.of this generation won't know about a car that needs to be ignited. I wonder how they would feel about driving without regenerative breaking for example. They'll probably see us as ancient artifacts 🤣
Edit: I don't mean it in belittling way. It'll be different and it's hard but also fun to imagine how different it'll be. I drive an EV and won't go back to ICE.
I need to replace battery of my watches. Where would you suggest trustworthy, good, and reasonably priced?
Thanks in advance!
