fans of LDR, what do y’all call yourselves?

Taylor Swift has the “Swifties”, Ariana Grande the “Arianators”, Beyonce the “Beyhive”, “Kittenz” for Doja Cat, Eminem fans literally call themselves “Stans”, Harry Styles has “Harries”, “Little Monsters” for Lady Gaga, “Barbz” for Nicki Minaj and so many more not listed.

i haven’t seen a consensus/agreed upon fan base name for Lana. what do you call yourself? is there something universal? should we make one..? 👀 i literally just call myself a Lana fan lol. just wondering your thoughts, ideas and opinions. maybe we can get something started ;)

starting my taper

title basically says it all. i tried quitting cold turkey and i couldn’t do it. i take 80mg/day 7oh right now. i’m going to 60mg tomorrow. i’ve got one 5 pack left and am trying to get it done using just that, then capsules and powder if needed.

what are some recommendations for dosing of kratom powder or capsules once my 7oh is gone? how much powder/capsules should i take? the capsules i got are 2g each, powder is obviously just the powder. i just don’t know where to go as far as the numbers

i have no idea what is happening to my cat

my cat (DMH, M, 1yo, 10lbs) has been having extremely concerning seizure-like-episodes. his first concerning one was around a month ago. he will freeze up, squeeze his eyes shut, fold his ears down, and slowly lift himself onto his back paws. it lasts about 15-20 seconds, he will just roam around for like a minute and then it happens again. i’ve had to catch him from falling many times. it will happen 20+ times in an hour. finally the whole “episode” will stop and he goes back to normal. he mostly stays by me afterwards but sometimes he goes to hide under something.

the first time this ever happened was entirely different (about 2 months ago). he would squeeze his eyes and ears for 1 second and be done, almost like a twitch which is what my vet initially thought it was. it has now progressed to above.

i’ve taken a ridiculous amount of videos of this and shown my vet. none of the vets at the clinic have any idea what it is. they even shared it on a vet page to get input from neuro vets and they don’t know either. their best guess is seizure activity, but they are nowhere near certain. the plan is to get an MRI.

some additional info: he just turned 1yo a few weeks ago and has CH. when he was around 3mo, he bit his own tail and had to have part of it amputated. this happened again about 2 weeks ago and tomorrow we go into the clinic to get his stitches removed.

he has already been diagnosed with CH. the vets are now wondering about FHS too due to his tail biting. however, they are completely dumbfounded by the episodes he has since neither CH or FHS cause what he’s been having. their best guess is literally a guess. has anyone had anything similar happen to their cat? any ideas at all? could anything be connected?

AITAH for an alley standoff?

A few weeks ago, I (24F) got into a 2 hour alleyway-car-standoff with another girl who was probably around the same age.

I was going home after work, and my apartment parking garage is in the middle of an alley that’s only wide enough for one car. When I pulled into the alley another car was at the other end of the alley facing me. I assumed they’d wait and let me turn in to the garage, which is normally how it goes.

However, she instead zoomed past the garage entrance and stopped right in front of me. I was probably 10 feet past the sidewalk, fortunately not blocking it since it was busy. I rolled my window down and asked her to back up enough so I had space to pull into the garage. She said that I should back up because she “got there first”.

I would’ve had to back up over a sidewalk and into one of the busiest streets in the city that’s lined by parked cars to let her out of the alley. It’s hard enough to drive forward into, NO WAY was I gonna back out into it at rush hour. That’s a recipe for disaster. She just needed to back 50 feet down an empty alley to let me into the garage entrance.

I told her I wasn’t gonna back up, she said the same. I had no plans for the night, so I just sat there listening to music and eating my Subway. She kept yelling at me saying things such as “I have to get my kids somewhere in x time” so I’d be like “then just back up dude”. It was petty by me, but my music and the volume drastically changed once she mentioned kids. She obviously didn’t have to get them somewhere in any amount of time because we were there for hours.

She constantly came up to my car (with her phone recording) punching the windows and kicking my car. I constantly told her to stop damaging my property. I’m small and felt unsafe so in hopes of getting her to back off, I let her know I had a tool if it came down to needing its use. I never got out of my car in the 2 hours. All I said was to back up, stop damaging my vehicle, and let her know the former. I’ve since learned my car is very well built so she actually probably hurt herself more than my car.

After 2 hours, she “surrendered the standoff” and said she’d back up (probably cause her phone was dying). She then said threatening things such as “you better hope to never run into me again” “I’ll remember your face so you better remember mine” and stuff like that. I just said okay and laughed. She did back up, and let me pull into the garage, then went by to exit the alley. It took 15 seconds.

It’s easier to back down an empty alley than back into a busy street right? Or AITAH? Should I have done something else?
