Repost: 32M, Deleted earlier post because people couldn't take a joke

I grew tired of the transactional nature of arranged marriage and decided to give reddit a shot.

I'm 31, 5 feet 9 inches fit and athletic, my family is based in South Delhi. I'm a Canadian Permanent Residence holder, and I keep travelling between the two places.

I work in the family business and belong to a well settled nuclear family.

Although I believe that "love" (as Prince, and now King Charles, said: "whatever in love means") does not come with checklists, but I need to write something over here just for the kicks. So here goes

What I bring to the table:

  1. Financial and Emotional Stability

  2. Six dogs, if you are allergic hard luck

  3. A superb playlist of blues music

Who am I (a prophetic question pondered by many great souls, like the Buddha): I am a finance geek, early hardships in life taught me the importance of investing, I invest both my time and money in the equity markets, and I see myself transitioning into this full time. Since I know the importance of investing, I am looking for someone who shares the same values, and not someone who will spend their next pay check on the shiny new Audi. I also want to live a long life to enjoy said money, and thus I am a fitness freak. I refrain from carbs and drink olive oil like an alcoholic drinks whisky. Speaking of alcohol, I don't drink, but I pretend my sparkling water is whisky while I listen to Ray Charles.

My negatives:

  1. Although I am financially well settled, business has its cycles, some years are good and some are..... Well that's why I invest. If you can't stomach that volatility, then this match won't last.

  2. Trouble letting go. I'm not exactly sure what that means to me. I'm still working on it.

Erratic life. There's no "plan" other than investing everything I earn. Today I'm in Delhi, tomorrow I will be in Toronto, day after I may be back in Delhi and never set foot back in Toronto, and I'm always fatigued : /

There are many more negatives, but who the hell shows that side on a dating profile! You'll have to find those out in person.

What I'm looking for:

  1. Honesty. Everyone lies, but once I catch someone lying it just turns me off.

2)Intelligence is a very attractive quality to me (as they say, we want what we can’t have). I'm searching for a partner who will help me make tough decisions that I have to face regularly in life and business.

  1. Someone who won't divorce or worse..... Put me in a blue drum /j

If you are taking care of stray dogs and wondering how to keep them cool in this heat wave, this may help

Buy the 8mm version of this from Amazon, the air bubble does not allow the heat to go through and the aluminium reflects most of it. The shade is 10 degrees cooler.

I use this + and a small evaporative air cooler. I have made a makeshift canopy from this.
