Help with adaptive layer height

I'm trying to optimise speed vs quality.for some simple shaped object I wanted to max the adaptive layer height to 0.32 and the smallest being 0.12

I believe I'm facing extrusion issues and nozzle clogging at 0.32 layer height. Fyi I'm using the standard 0.4 nozzle size. At 0.32 layer height I'm seeing empty pockets of filament etc. at 0.2 and below the prints are perfect

Do you think it's because of a specific brand of filaments causing it?

Or 0.32 is too much of a height for the snapmaker?

Shouldn't the temps go up with high extrusion?

What am I missing here?

Is there some calibrations i could do ?

Heat Break Jams. Need help

Update: i ran temperature tower tests. My filament 3d galaxy PLA light blue is to be set at 240°c all my other brand PLAs are at 210°c that's why nozzle clogging was happening. And caught me by surprise

I'm experiencing at least two heat break/heat creep jams a day on my Snapmaker U1, mostly around filament changes. I'm looking for hardware or slicer solutions from anyone who has successfully resolved this.

Context:

My snapmaker u1 is 350hrs only it's new. Iv had multiple jams everyday average 2 jams per day. Different nozzles. Different filaments each time. Only PLA. Also a strange thing I notice jams happening around 4am, I don't know if that relevant

My ambient room temperatures are generally on the warmer side, which I know makes it harder for the heatsink to do its job.

The jams heavily trigger during filament swaps. The filament forms a bulb, wedges in the heat break, and strips the extruder gears. I am constantly having to disassemble the extruder and use the unclogging rod.

What I'm already doing.

Pushing 10-15mm of filament through the heated nozzle before doing a swift pull to remove it.

Keeping the enclosure doors fully closed when printing lower-temp materials like PLA. I'm not using an encloser

Strange artifacts

What can I do about these artifacts? It seems to be increasing over time. Feels like it's getting some skin disease

Optimum speed

Can someone please guide me on how to go about calibration to optimise speed and get the most out of snapmaker u1? I want to be able to print at the most efficient speeds. Please dumb it down. I'm a first time printer. Just printing one thing till now on default settings.
