Hi! I built Terrascope, an open-source terminal map with live weather, aircraft, radar, earthquakes, and day/night views. It uses Unicode Braille characters to render the map right in your terminal.

Install with pipx:

pipx install --python python3.12 dripfetch

Install with pip (in a virtual environment):

python3.12 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
python -m pip install dripfetch

Install with Homebrew:

brew tap a-shygun/dripfetch https://github.com/a-shygun/dripfetch.git
brew install a-shygun/dripfetch/dripfetch

Clone the repo and run the installer:

I just downloaded this model straight from Hugging face, and when I try to import it, this happens. Is this the intended effect or am I doing something wrong?

So basically I'm trying to compare Ollama and LM Studio, i downloaded Gemma 4 12b QAT for my macbook pro m1 pro 16GB, and i tested the same prompt on both, the model was downloaded straight from the LM Studio's Library, and was converted to ollama using this command

As you can see in the results, the LM Studio is giving me a considerably shorter description while also taking longer, while Ollama is giving essentially the same info + some extra info + a table while taking less time. Can someone explain this thing? I made sure no other programs were using resources when the apps were running. Thanks in Advance!

Is it normal to get such a high score?

27 yo 141kg 184cm just started doing a 5K everyday and this is my VO2 max. The 5k takes 54 minutes everyday and truthfully it's getting easier everyday and i can feel see my heartbeat averaging less and it feeling easier to go more for a bit. After reading up on what VO2 maz presents and realizing mine is really low, I'm seeing a consistent +0.2 to +0.4 to the value almost daily. Is this actually achievable? Or it doesn't mean anything? I'm going to keep exercising regardless but seeing this number going up is giving me a boost of morale.

Usually I send a quick “Hi” before using gpt for 2 reasons being polite(lol) and checking internet connection. If I get a response, then I ask the question.
The only problem is that now I have to deal with these titles for chats. Maybe the title generation could use a little rework?
