I wish we had more than just one corner of the internet

Exactly this. I posted a photo of an orange that looks exactly like a yoni to me. I mean look: it's got the fruitoris and everything.

I posted it to the r/mildlyinteresting, where the mods did say posts like that were allowed and even encouraged. Within actual seconds I got bombarded with comments assuming I'm just some horny dude, as if that's all a vagina is good for. By the time I deleted it, it had 0 upvotes and over 100 comments from who I can only assume was men making fun of me for being "horny". Is that all we are to them?

I love the female anatomy. It is one of the most beautiful things to me. Yes, I like women. But when I see such art like this, I don't immediately think about how I can make it mine.

I haven't checked, but I can guarantee phallic fruits are just giggle-worthy. I doubt the reaction would be anything like this. Because the men in my comments are dogs, and they thought I was a dog too.

Anyways, I hope y'all enjoy this very pretty orangussy. It was delicious

Re-making egg brine?

I tried pickling eggs and jalapenos for the first time yesterday, and it ended up tasting like bread and butter pickles instead of dill, which I really can't stand. I completely forgot to specify what kind of pickled egg flavour I want, and added 2/3 cups of sugar to my 7-cup brine.

If I strain everything, boil a new brine, and pour it over:

a) will it make a difference on what's already been absorbed?

b) will it be food-safe to be reheating and cooling the eggs and spices so much?

I love everything about the eggs BUT the extra sugar and mustard unfortunately. Thank you!

Protecting an exposed root until I can see a Perio?

I want to start by saying that I know my teeth are not in the best condition. I struggle with drinking and smoking, and I have mental health issues that make it hard to care for my teeth on a consistent basis. Still, I am really trying to fix my dental hygiene and would appreciate help without judgement. Thank you!

Also, the gums around the tooth behind the premolar isn't weird, I just have dental posts/implants there. I've been told that my implants didn't cause the gum recession though.

As the title says, the root of my premolar has been exposed, likely due to over-brushing or bruxism. I am 21 with weak enamel since I was a baby, and early gym disease. I got X-rays a few weeks ago, and everything including nerve sensation is fine, except for some grade 1 mobility on that tooth.

Then dentist noticed some ulceration in the tooth which I can't identify, so I don't know if it's gone or not. The whole area is extremely irritated and often itchy.

Is there some kind of protective covering I can use until I can see someone in September? If not, what can I do to make sure I keep the tooth?

Also, can I use oragel or some other numbing gel to stop the itching, or would it not be good for the skin?

Thank you in advance!

Why shouldn't you leave moon water out last sunrise?

Is it something about conflicting energies? Also, is there such thing as sun water?

My Blue Moon Cord Cutting

This is one of my first spells, and I'm so proud. I'm also really happy with how it turned out in the end :)

Taking a semester off

I need to take a semester off to focus on some addiction and mental health stuff. I need to know:

  1. Which MRU department to talk to, or if I should just not pay for the semester

  2. How my student loans will be affected. I'll be at the 5th year of my program, and I wonder if taking a "6th" year will make me ineligible for loans

If anyone has any advice or knows who I can talk to, I would greatly appreciate it

Last-year burnout advice?

I'm going into my last year of uni, which will be my 5th. I failed two classes last semester, and one the semester before because I am just losing the energy to finish my degree. I love the material and doing the work, but I procrastinate. Maybe out of a fear of failure. The work is genuinely easy for me, even if I am not giving 100%. So I don't know why I'm afraid to fail.

I do also have mental health issues which I am dealing with using meds and therapy.

Has anyone been in the same boat?
