Does jailbreaking an MTP Kindle make it possible to get direct file access again?

I ask because I got excited about the idea of downloading books and fonts on my phone, and just plugging in my Kindle PW to transfer them straight over. But that can’t be done with the MTP devices, because iOS doesn’t have the drivers to support the protocol. (It could in the future, but I’ll settle for shaking my fist in Apple’s general direction for now).

I’m on 5.19.4*, so can’t jailbreak right now anyways, but just wanted to ask if jailbreaking the other MTP devices has made them able to be accessed directly, so that moving files over from my phone might be possible in the future?

* Should have started my research on jailbreaking before I bought the thing, didn’t know not to connect it to my account haha. Oh well, I’m happy to be patient for now.

Did anyone else get a REALLY poorly packed box this week?

Our box got delayed a day this week (so this could just be a local issue), and now that it’s here… yikes.

Ice packs melted in the complete opposite corner from the meats, multiple meal bags torn open to the point where they could only just barely be removed from the box in tact, ground beef open and leaking. Everything is warm and damp.

I can understand some of this, it is a heatwave and all (though that doesn’t make me trust these meats any more…), but the ice packs in one corner? Both of them fully standing up vertically, away from where they’re the most necessary? My recipe cards and both “there’s food under the ice packs” pieces of cardboard were stacked and shoved into the side of the box.

Is something up at the warehouse this week, or did we just draw the short straw this time around?

Will I stop being so tired eventually?

I thought being more active was supposed to give you more energy in the long run. 😭

A few weeks ago, I really locked in on a new fitness routine: long-ish walks most mornings, and doing machines at the gym on my lunch break four days a week. I usually take off of both on a weekend day, mostly just bc there’s things around the house that need doing.

At first, I did feel like I had more energy. I was really sore (bc I’ve never done any strength training before), but I was being careful, pushing through, and feeling pretty great overall. But now I’ve been at it for almost a month, and my body’s adjusting so I don’t feel anywhere near as sore after workouts, but I am SO tired, constantly. I have to drag myself out of bed to go for my walks, just to be effectively dead on the couch by 5-6pm.

I don’t think I’m undereating (I’ve actually been really appreciating how more activity gives me some more food freedom), and I’m eating a good balance of carbs, protein, and fiber. I’m getting enough sleep in a good environment (clean 8 hours every single night), and I’m definitely drinking enough water. I have multiple rest days off from the gym, and really never feel like I’m pushing myself too hard physically.

I’m just really, really tired, always.

Is this just a secondary phase? Is there something I can do to help fix this? Please tell me my body’s gonna adjust to this too and I won’t feel like I’m dying forever.

What is my phone giving me haptic feedback about?

Starting this week, when I scroll through my home feed, my phone vibrates seemingly at random. It doesn’t happen when I pin things, just while I’m scrolling. It’s one short vibration, then a longer one.

Any idea what that’s indicating?

(I am on the iOS27 beta, this could definitely be related. Just so curious what that feedback’s even connected to.
