What viral type illness have you guys heard of going around the area? It’s weird, so I’m curious if anyone has encountered anything similar.

I spent 5 hours in the ER last night to get a shot to help with some AWFUL joint aches.

Two COVID/flu tests were negative at home, also negative in the ER. Very mild sinus symptoms (but they’ve been around since before being sick).

Basically, I have had a fever (running 100 even with Tylenol and ibuprofen on board) and the worst joint aches I’ve ever encountered. Tried everything I could at home to manage the pain, and I tend to avoid the ER at all costs, but I just couldn’t get the pain to be manageable.

They determined it was a virus of unknown origin, as the basic tests of what you’d normally expect were all negative. Thankfully, they honored my request for steroid and Toradol shots to try to get things to calm down. Since it doesn’t seem to be respiratory in nature (at least for me), really the only thing I figured they could do was to try to damper my body’s inflammatory response.

My doctor just increased my Trintellix dose to 20 mg today. I will start taking it tomorrow.

If you were on 10 mg previously and went up to 20 mg, how long did it take to see a difference? Was it the typical 4-6 weeks, or did you see an improvement sooner?

Suggestions for battling intense sadness and loneliness?
Feelings of being picked last, so to speak. It keeps happening.

I have ADHD, suffer from RSD, PMDD, and have anxiety. I also have some significant physical limitations right now, so the gym is out as a source of working through things. Before I was limited, I’d go to the gym and sweat some of it out.

I am on meds (have an appointment soon to talk about changing dosages) and am in therapy, but I’m still struggling so much.

Currently on 10 mg Trintellix. I have an appointment in about a week and a half to discuss changing the dose. 10 mg hasn’t been working for me for a while. Has anyone seen improvement in their mental health after increasing the dose?

Note: I also take 10 mg Adderall IR 2x/day, 0.5 mg Rexulti (that’s not doing much, so I’d like to drop it soon…1 mg was too much), 300 mg Lyrica, 4 mg of Tizanidine 3x/day, and oxycodone as needed. The last 3 meds are due to a very involved surgery 5 months ago where the nerves are quite angry, and the muscles spasm. I just included them because of the impact that can have in all of the other meds.

If so, who did you have do your PPF or ceramic coating? Ceramic tint?

I just bought a new car and am up in the air on whether to do paint protection film or just going with a ceramic coating. I also am looking at ceramic tint on the windows.

Recommendations for the best place(s) for these things?

I’m in the market for a new car. In talking to a friend, the friend told me I could look at a Tesla, like the one they have (Model 3, I think?). This friend then brought up a friend, who recently purchased a “Brand New Model S for $45k.” I’m not seeing anything online that a new Model S was ever available for $45k. I asked my friend if there was maybe a typo when their friend sent a text of what they’d purchased, but they seem to be digging in on what it is, so now I’m a bit confused as to how this is even possible, short of a high value trade in to offset the price.

Just wondering, am I missing something?
