Alpine railroad update!
Bought used tracks off of Ricardo(Swiss fb marketplace) and doubled the track distance for a mere 60chf. Had to completely change the route of a cable car and dig out a trench but it’s worth it.

So I’ve got this garden rail loop but an issue is that the trains get power from the track and plants keep growing and shorting the tracks out, I’ve already laid gravel down but it didn’t really help and I’m scared weed-killer will just kill everything around which I don’t want either. any tips?
The Baja variant of the Grotti Brioso is just a piccolina any idea why
So I was out on the water with this boat: https://amewi.com/Blue-Barracuda-V3-Mini-Boot-RTR
It was on the beach so saltwater, big waves, etc..
The boat was running fine for the first five minutes and then all of a sudden the propeller started churning up water and making a lot of bubbles but the boats speed was cut by 70%, the motor is still capable of running full speed and I’ve inspected and cleaned the driveline but it still ain’t working. Any ideas?
I have a Duet which my first real plane, however I’ve gotten used to flying it and don’t think I’m really learning anything as it doesn’t have ailerons or anything so I’m looking to upgrade, My criteria are: It has to be tough (relatively), not too expensive and have some sort of flight aids and RTF would be nice. Any suggestions?
I’ve had a Hobbyzone Sport Cub S2 for a couple of years but I never really learned how to fly it and it had a crash that left it beyond repair. Last year however, My dad got me a Duet S2, which I’ve learned to fly properly and have even bought more batteries for in addition to the sport cub ones. I do feel it’s time to upgrade though, so My question is, can I buy a bnf sport cub and fly it using the duet remote as I’m pretty sure the old sport cub one is broken or would I need a new remote?
Upon request of my family, I would want to expand the layout but have hit a wall with how so I need some inspiration. I want something unique so not a third cable car but at the same time not to expensive (200chf), Any ideas?
„Mom can we have a Maxx?”
„We have one at home”
„Traxxas Maxx at home”
So I was recently sifting through my old stuff and found a bunch of old Märklin my world trains, most of them were broken beyond repair and I threw them away but I saved a set my dad got me from the states which came with a loop of metal railed track and a battery operated “Acela”-ish train. Would it be possible to convert the metal railed loop into a proper DC HO loop and what parts would I need (throttle, etc…)
*EDIT: THIS IS MÄRKLIN C TRACK, HO track that is widely available in Europe if anyone could recommend a speed controller for this.
