Hope everyone is well.

I’m wanting to visit Matlock Bath over the next few days since the weather will be good. I’ve never visited before. I’m female, in my twenties for reference. I’ll be solo, and will be travelling by train. I’d like some suggestions please on things to do whilst I’m there.

I’ve done some research, and I will be visiting the aquarium and heights of Abraham for sure. I don’t want to go on a hike but don’t mind a small easy walk, as I won’t have the correct footwear, so will Hall Leys Park be a good idea? What other things/places to visit are there please?

In terms of food and drink, what affordable coffee shops and restaurants are there please? Ideally places that will accommodate solo diners. Not really a pub gal, would rather a fish and chip shop or a restaurant/cafe.

I don’t have a massive budget but do want to make a good day out of it before travelling home.

I used to follow Georgie back in lockdown. I stopped posting fitness content and stopped watching or engaging with anything fitness about 2/3 years ago. So I’m well out of the loop with fitness influencers. I don’t want to snark on her and don’t want to incite any hate, that’s not my intention. But does anyone else think she looks drastically different? I almost didn’t recognise her! What has she changed?

I’m watching 90210 for the first time and currently on season 2 on the episode 10 and noticing Annie is hardly being shown in the episodes this season… does she just disappear later down the line in other seasons? I really did like her character before jasper and the hit and run, and feel really sorry for her for the horrible treatment she’s been getting from almost everyone in the show.. she was beginning to be popular, had friends, was smart, was pretty and her style was cute and now she’s in clothes as if she was from abnegation 😭 and she has no one around her now apart from jasper…

Does she have any character growth back to how she was? Will we see more of her? (No spoilers please!)

Anyone going to the FitXpo this weekend in Bolton? Does anyone have a spare ticket at all please?

I’m watching 90210 for the first time and I’m on season 2 and currently on the episode where Dixon tells his mom “you’re not my real mom”… it’s been brewing but I’m really starting to dislike Dixon, his attitude, the way he speaks to people, the way he’s entitled and thinks too much of himself, and I really didn’t think I’d dislike him as at the start of the series he was likeable.

Someone tell me does his character improve? Or does it get worse? Does he have some character growth at all?! 😭

I want to start running to improve my fitness levels and as cardio. I’ll be a complete beginner. I’m looking for suggestions on very affordable but good quality running trainers that won’t fall apart.

I’m not sure if this is a complete stretch but at the moment my budget can only stretch to about £30. I’ll have to save for a little while longer to stretch it to £50. But won’t be able to afford much more than that at the moment unfortunately.

What trainers would you recommend please?

Im born in the UK and come to the realisation that I’ve never explored or travelled the UK and I’d like to change that! Life shouldn’t just be restricted and confined to the small city I live in and travelling should include the country I also live in!

Now I know I *may* get the odd comment “why would you want to visit Manchester, plenty of other beautiful places to visit” but I’m getting there, l want to explore everywhere lol! But also need to be realistic with budgets and time restraints etc.

Manchester has always been intriguing to me! The hustle and bustle of the city has always been fascinating to me. I’d love to visit and spend a weekend there at some point this year. So I’m planning ahead and would like some suggestions/recommendations on budget and free things to do whilst there from activities, cheap food and drink spots (not a big drinker, but a foodie and love coffee), sightseeing spots etc, and thoughts on what a realistic budget I can set for the weekend would be.

I don’t drive, happy to use public transport, although anything city centre would most likely be ideal. I will probably be staying in a hostel to keep costs low as I would rather spend more time and money on experiences and memories.
