Question my Little Sisters mod (first timer)

Hey Everyone,

My little sister recently got into watches after seeing my Gshocks and Citizen divers. So much into it that now she wants a watch for her bday. She has dainty wrists and works in medical environment so I was thinking a clean Casio W217H but with a personal touch.

I was thinking of doing a lume mod with the lume tape and write her name on it or something, Chatgpt is saying to write the name directly on the back of the LCD module after I peel off the reflector? Or should I write it on the lume tape? Or should I insert another clear acetate layer ?

I think I found my guy (based in NYC) Chen Watch Inc

Hey Peeps,

I think I found my guy, 2? Weeks ago I posted here with my broken Explorer. I ended up taking it to Chen Watches Inc down in Chinatown Manhattan. Dude was a pleasure to work with very professional. Idk what exactly was broken but it took a week to fix and overall cost under $200

Not sure if he even needs this shoutout but yea dope place if you live around here. Gonna link his google maps for future reppers that need repairs.

WD006 I think I get it now (layman review)

Got this a few days ago arrived last night opened it today.

The watch itself 10/10 can't see anything wrong Casio themselves can't do better lol. It tells time it's Vh31 sweeping seconds hand no regrets.

Where it falls apart. The bracelet is like 5/10 on a generous day. Idk feels tinny tin tin like those Casio metal bracelets. Idk just feels cheap. HAIR PULLING MACHINE :(.

The clasp area is milled, and we got micro adjust but man idk I changed bracelet within the hour. I pulled all the hairs off my wrist lol. Gotta work on the bracelet or maybe just sell em with rubber if u wanna stay in that range and upgrade to steel idk.

Soo overall 7.9/10 everthing considered. Keeping it in my rotation. Gosh the dial is fkin perfect for summer

Did I fk up my VF Explorer 36mm ?

Hey Guys,

VF Rolex Explorer 1 36mm (Dandong 3230 movement? not sure)

I guess I done FUCKED UP. I wanted to wear this watch today, picked it up and shook it to get it going nothing. So I wound it up and still seconds hand didn't move. Umm yea smacked it a few times on my palm nothing. Opened her up and we'll see the video. I think the balance wheel got fked up? While digging around I might've lost a small part 😕 fk me. Anyone else experience this ?

Any ideas how to fix, or repair servicers ? I'm in NYC looking at Mr. Chen Watches?

Update: Took it to Chen's watch lets see how it goes

I Need a DAMNED smart business casual shoe!

Basically says it all recently unemployed trying to get back into the game. Got an interview lined up. Last work place was remote so I "out grew" all my work outfits and only have New Balance 880 which I'm 10.5 4E. Any other shoe that looks like a minimalist white sneaker "stan smiths?" But for wide feet ?

Gshock Radio Signal makes me feel like a kid again!

Idk I just wanted to share with y'all nerds. Decided to set my gshock via radio signal and it friggin worked it's perfectly synced up with the atomic clock. Idk something about doing this just made me feel like a kid again lol. Damn I have thousands of dollars worth of watches but none of them really gives me this feeling. And yes recently the humble gw5610u is getting the most wrist time.

Idk fkn this could be my end game watch was it hiding in plain sight all along hah
