Should I go to pity for another copy of arc diantha or save for anni?

Only have her at 1/5 and I’m only halfway to my next gold candy.

Did you know: Red and Red are the only two trainers to have the same Trainer-Pokemon pair for two different anniversary sync pairs?

Refusing to Use AI Isn’t Resistance. It’s Just Falling Behind.

What exactly is the endgame here?
Seriously. What do you think you are going to achieve by refusing to use AI? What is the actual win condition?
Because from where I’m standing, a lot of you are not making some profound ethical stand. You are just mad that the world is moving in a direction you do not understand, fear, and cannot keep up with.
Refusing to use tools that automate and accelerate work will not magically make everyone else stop using them. That is not resistance. That is self-sabotage with better branding.
People using AI are going to keep gaining an advantage. That advantage will grow. The tools will get better. The workflows will get faster. The gap will widen.
Meanwhile, you will still be sitting there, proudly doing everything the slow way, dragging your tired little human feet through the mud and calling it virtue.
This is basically the same as getting angry at transportation.
“No, thanks. I refuse to use horses, cars, trains, or airplanes. I will walk everywhere because walking is more authentic.”
Cool. Walk then. But do not act surprised when everyone else gets there before you.
And the “AI only produces garbage” argument is honestly one of the laziest takes around.
No. Bad AI use produces garbage. Lazy prompts produce garbage. People with no taste, no structure, no direction, and no understanding of the thing they are making produce garbage.
But good AI-assisted work? You probably consume it every day without noticing.
Images. Writing. Apps. Music. Design. Videos. Code. Marketing. Tools. Workflows.
You notice the trash because trash is obvious. You do not notice the good stuff because, by definition, it does not announce itself as AI-generated.
AI is not some magic button that replaces thought. It is an execution layer. The quality depends on the person directing it.
One lazy prompt will produce obvious slop. Sure.
But what happens when someone builds the project architecture, defines the rules, maps dependencies, creates constraints, iterates, edits, tests, supervises, and actually knows what they are doing?
At that point, the final product can become indistinguishable from something made entirely by human hands.
And that is the part people do not want to deal with, because it kills the comforting fantasy that all AI work is automatically low-effort garbage.
AI is not going away.
People who use it are not going to stop because you are upset.
You can complain. You can moralize. You can refuse to adapt. That is your choice.
But the train is leaving, and it is picking up speed.
Either get on, or keep walking forever.
Just do not pretend walking is some kind of victory.

Why is Paldea still so crudely implemented into the game after 2.5 years?

For perspective, the first Paldea pairs, Iono and Grusha, released at the beginning of 2024, both as pokefairs. Nearly every Paldea pair that has released has been limited in some way, most via pokefair or master fair, but there are additionally a *lot* of event-gated units, such as the starters, academy units, iono+kilowattrel, etc. And these event pairs seem to be taking the place of the general pool units in other regions despite being less obtainable. I can only think of two paldea pairs that are actually reasonably obtainable at all times, which are DC Nemona and Gym Grusha.

I feel like adding some general pool paldea 5* and a daily battle for region tickets like the other regions have isn’t that big of an ask, right? It’s not like the tickets are even as easily obtainable anymore due to the lack of villain arc events or events that allow you to get 30x of a regional ticket. And it would be good for them to add more because we still dont even have that many sprint/field free pairs. Better yet maybe they could update legendary adventures? Since, you know, every region except Paldea has one? I’m scared they’re just gonna keep making more paldea EX fairs and we’re gonna run out of Paldea characters before we get any F2P friendly pairs.

The Zoink vs Popoff discourse has been insufferable these past few days.

I swear so many people on this sub after society has been verified have just been trying to fuel their “x player is better than y player” or “x level is significantly harder than y level” agenda and now that zoink started playing society its getting even worse. Why can’t we just congratulate people’s achievements without turning everything into top player comparison? I feel like this is unfair for both popoff and zoink because the narratives have more sway than their actual skill at the game and now people are saying shit like “zoink prepracticed society to make popoff look worse at the game”. Both players are very good at the game and they probably aren’t as invested in these arguments as some people here are.
