HELP!! what to do? I’m scared

I’m getting singled out in my own family, I turned 23 a month ago, I’m yet to graduate my bachelors I have like two papers to write (I think I’ll have to wait an year) and finish my degree, because of me being currently unemployed and staying at home, my family slowly started to single me out, whenever I try to eat dinner there’s nothing left for me, but my mom never fails to fed my 16- almost 17 year old brother, she never calls me for dinner, or for anything, even if I’m getting something to eat, my side of the portion is lesser compared to what my brother get. I’m crying while writing this, I feel the weight of my existence very painfully, like I’m a weight to this earth, also mildly panicking and crying run I have no one in this world, like I can’t trust my own parents who I thought loved me with whole their heart, I only have one person my bf of three years, who lives outside, whom I could reliably trust with my whole heart(no offence but I know people may be skeptical about my relationship, but I know him and what we have better, than anyone else does. I just wish and hope people would focus more on what I’m dealing with at home instead of worrying about my boyfriend)

expensive things that are worth the money and are essentials

⭐️ hair dryer {you absolutely need one, you must dry your scalp after every shower/bathe or you’ll deal with dandruff if recommend a hair dryer especially from dyson, it’s a good investment that you’d be using for 10+ years for yourself, your spouse, your dog/cat/ baby to dry their hair, I mean you get the point) you can also use your hair dryer to style your hair giving a blow out or to diffuse for curly hair

⭐️electric toothbrush {manually brushing doesn’t effectively remove the plaque, save time and effort and buy a good electric tooth brush and learn how to use it properly, there’s many tutorials in YouTube, don’t press it too hard against your gum or teeth, hold it at 45° against your teeth not gums give it few seconds and move to other tooth, covering upper and lower set of teeth in 2 minutes and that’s it! do it twice a day after waking up and before going to bed.

⭐️water flosser- it removes most of the plaque along the gumline very effectively, I highly recommend it using at night, but you should incorporate a floss pick for sidelines of teeth at night only.

⭐️menstrual cup steamer - if you’re using a menstrual cup, the only difficult thing is sterilising it, or you could get a bad infection and using a steamer is so freaking convenient istg, it only takes a couple of minutes.

⭐️trimmer - I highly recommend one from Philips one blade, it’s so easy to use, it doesn’t even cut the skin, to remove hair from bikini area and under arm.

⭐️skincare that works - all you need is a good vitamin c serum with niacinamide 2-5%, retinol 0.01% (for beginners), peptide serum, exfoliating serum (used once or twice a week) that’s it, at-most you need one more serum targeting your skin condition (eg- pigmentation, acne)

⭐️makeup brushes - I’ll recommend you to get the basic brushes from pac an angled blush brush, angled and kitten paw concealer brush, small powder brush to set under eyes with loose powder, medium powder brush for bronzer and blush in powder form, a pizza puff, and a T shaped foundation brush that’s it.

⭐️Apple watch- only useful if you’re a gym going girlie great for tracking your steps and how much calorie burned.

girlies today I’ll teach to how to grow out your nail bed (the pink part)💅🏽✨

as the title suggests I’m gonna teach everyone here how to grow their nail bed like I did ^~^💅🏽✨❤️

✨First let’s learn nail anatomy, there’s a bit of skin if you observe that sticks to the nail bed (hyponychium), of nail, this excessive skin that clings and sticks to the nail bed makes it grow longer to its potential, keep in mind that this hyponychium is really fragile so treat it with all the care you can give in this world

✨first of all ditch the nail clippers, it destroys your nail bed, I know it’s gross but use a nail file, and leave a bit of white part (the actual nail) of nail itself don’t trim that off, like don’t completely file down your nail to your nail bed, if you do it might stress out nail bed.

✨second use a nail oil, like a high quality cold pressed 100% pure jojoba nail and use an applicator brush, apply this nail oil three times a day - morning, noon and night, apply it over around the nail and underneath the nail, then apply hand cream. always reapply nail oil after washing your hands and after using a nail polish remover, even if you forget to moisturise one day this hyponychium starts to not stay put and peel off from nail bed

✨Do not try to clean under your nail this disturbs and separates that skin underneath your nail making them your nail bed shorter and shorter.

✨Protect your nails from trauma, wear gloves while washing dishes, be gentle with them.

✨apply gel nails with a base coat, I personally think they protect and reinforce your nail into a more curve archy shape, while your nails grows underneath

✨if you want pink nail bed you need to up your iron consumption.

✨at last consistency is the key, you’ll notice a change in six months, you’ll definitely see the results from the efforts you put in.

Tips!
❤️Use a headband and a wrist band, to keep hair out of your face and wear a wrist band so water doesn’t get everywhere, while using the sink to wash your face.

❤️Apply skincare two hours before your bed time so products gets absorbed into your skin and won’t get transferred to your pillow case, I’d also recommend sleeping on your back too.

❤️Brush your teeth and do your oral hygiene routine before you apply any skincare.

❤️Don’t mix antioxidants with oxidants.

❤️Wait 10 minutes before each session of layering the skin with products, so it absorbs fully.

❤️Put product on back of your hand and dab it in all over your skin in an even distribution with one finger, don’t forget your neck.

❤️Pat the skin dry with a white cotton towel, you want the skin to be a bit damp.

❤️Listen to your skin.

❤️Use a humidifier with a steel tank at night, if your climate is dry.

❤️Wash your hands before your face.

❤️Layering the 3 or more different serums causes lesser penetration, you might wanna use a cocktail of ingredients in one product.

❤️Use an HOCL spray post workout to keep everything refreshed, I use the one from Minimalist {HOCL Skin Relief Spray 150 ppm} https://beminimalist.co/products/hocl-skin-relief-spray-150-ppm-toner

Why is it so difficult to find a fragrance free option for body care products in India? 😞💔

Everything is loaded with fragrance, which is irritating for my sensitive skin, I sometimes breakout in rashes from using Vaseline cocoa body lotion. I wish there was a fragrance free variant (body washes, body lotions, body oil) like how they sell in abroad. 😞💔

Best primer hands down!!

I researched and bought this primer, and it applied on smoothly and ingredients wise it’s so much clean, has many silicones gives it a smoother finish on skin and effective, do you agree?

Hi I’m a beginner girl who’s gonna learn to apply and use makeup but I don’t know where to start I have some money saved up to buy and try out some makeup products, my total budget is around ₹7000 but I prefer individual products to stay around ₹300 - ₹800 each!! I’d appreciate if anyone gave guidance on what to be brought, bonus point if the product is fragrance and talc free!! 💄💗 the product shouldn’t be expensive but should be efficient and of good quality, bought by many people!!
