How to fade dark spots (As fast as possible) from (stupidly) picking at pimples on nose

I know picking at pimples around the nose is a horrible idea, shouldn't have done it. Does anyone have any tips for fading these? I've had these dark marks for about a week after picking at the scabs.

(I'm aware these aren't something that goes away in a day, but I would love it if there are any short term solutions!!)

The photo makes it appear less prominent than it actually is, it's quite noticeable which I hate.

5 Oct practice marimba reccomendations

I'm currently an incoming junior who's repertoire that requires a 5 Oct marimba. I really love playing marimba and I would prefer to get a practice 5 octave for my house/dorm if possible.

I've been looking at Paduk demorrow so far.

How do people in high school balance High school + band camp with DCI

After watching DCI San Antonio I'm really thinking about joining DCI next year as an incoming senior and was hoping for advice and experience from people who did DCI while in high school band also.

(I am a front ensemble player serving as captain and center marimba)

DCI/WGI Marimba packets

Hey y'all, I'm currently an incoming junior playing marimba for my high school. I am really interested in joining DCI/WGI and was wondering what packet from which corps should I buy if I want to perfect all aspects needed to audition?

Front ensemble reddit question

Hey y'all I know this is the drumline reddit but I feel like it would be a better idea to ask here than r/dci. Which subreddit would be best to ask for advice/talk about front ensembles for dci/wgi or just marching marimba in general? The current r/Marimba seems to be just concert marimba related posts.

Looking for DCI/WGI clinics for front ensemble to gain experience

I'm currently an incoming junior playing marimba for my HS in Austin, Texas. This past year I've gotten really into DCI and WGI and I would love to experience clinics before ultimately making my decision after graduating! I haven't been successful in finding any clinics near me so if you guys know any I'd love to know!

Background: (HS so far)

Vibes 24-25

Marimba 25-27

Pit Captain/Center Marimba 26-27

*My current ideal would be to do one season of DCI and one season of WGI, maybe more if it means getting into a favorite corps such as BAC, Bloo, SCV, RCC, Broken city, etc.

Benny drumpad

I just got this pad from a friend and after going on Google it seems to be a pad meant for drumset practice rather than marching snare practice. Is this still a good drumpad to use and chop out on or should I not use this for marching snare practice?

Need tips in finding a stable career/major, while still being involved in music

I'm currently a incoming junior (15M), wanting to start planning for the future. In my school I am heavily involved in band, as I am one of the leaders in the percussion section for junior and hopefully senior year. I know I am extremely talented in music, but I also want a stable career where money is my 1st priority, while happiness is my 2nd. Does anyone have any tips or experiences similar to mine? I really don't want to be struggling with finances in the future, and I am willing to change directions if music is not a viable option for me.

I currently like chemistry, anatomy, biology, (sort of) and dislike math and English, but I am not opposed to a major related to those as long as it isn't heavily dependent on either math or english.

Icebreaker ideas

I'm a new section leader this year and every day after band camp we do an icebreaker in our section. Does anyone have any suggestions besides duck duck goose? That's really the only one I know. There are around 20 people in my section.

Trad grip help + Snare help in general

For context I've never had an instructor learning traditional grip on snare. I'm the pit captain for the school so I've always been busy with pit related stuff, but now that I have time I really wanna pickup some snare chops because my (unrealistic) goal is to be a snare player in college.

My main issue is my left hand as it feels super uncomfortable trying to match heights with my right hand, but it feels a lot more comfortable when not independent, the fingers are also a problem too.

Any advice is really appreciated! I know the taps need to be lower in the Ayala Paradiddle exercise.

Leader or no leader? Carp fishing in murky water. I have green braid currently rigged

Me and my buddies are going carp fishing tomorrow at a river full of carp. I currently have 15 lb green moss braid and 20 lb on two rods I'm bringing. I have 12 lb flouro also laying around, will I need that leader or is it not necessary due to the water being murky

(The water used to be decently clear but flash flooding has caused the clarity to turn murky, the photo is a vague example of how murky it was 3 days ago when my other friend went)

Traveling to Chicago and was thinking about doing some fishing, reel suggestions?

For context I'll be fishing around 30 mins-1 hour a day while I'm visiting and I currently have the Eagle Claw Telescopic Rod. What reel would best pair with this rod while being cheap? (The reel that came with it was horrible)

I'll be doing some chill fishing on the riverwalk using ned rigs and small lures, etc.

Player card rarity upgrading?

I'm decently new to player cards but this season I've got 32 player cards in MLB specifically (mostly pitchers). What players should I focus on upgrading? And what rarity should I go to? I have basically the top 20 pitchers and batters.

Junior Schedule Next Year

Hi, I'm wondering how much homework per week I can expect next year from this schedule. Next year I'll be heavily involved in my marching band, so if any of you guys have any suggestions for studying over the summer in preparation for next year it would be really helpful!

I am doing Spanish 3 and health over the summer.
