First time doing a button or a small pouch, just debating whether to add a belt loop now 😁

Hi, mainly looking for owner views but opinions welcome. I'm likely getting a Skoda Kamiq shortly but struggling with whether it's better to go for the 1.0 115/116PS manual SE Edition on a 74/75 plate, or the 1.5 dsg automatic SEL Executive on a 22/23 plate. Prices at the local Skoda dealer are very similar.
Primary driving is probably 100miles/week to and from work on 40mph A roads and short trips on the motorway with occasional (two/three times a year) trips from the south coast to North Wales. Thanks for your time!

Made a needle case over the weekend. Misjudged the size perhaps so can probably got a thimble, nub of wax and spare thread too but 😅
Pretty much as the question states, is a car wheel lock a worthwhile investment these days? Shortly going to be getting a new car so considering doing so. Thanks!
Hi, just bought a used Taigo and the gear knob slipped on the drive away - have got in touch with the dealer and they’re going to see what they can do. However, while I’m happy to replace the knob myself (pic 1), does anyone know what the split rubber is in pic 2 is actually called and whether it’s replaceable? Thanks
Loved Settlers 2 when I was younger and have made the effort to emulate it on DosBox. I know they did the anniversary edition, but is there anything out there of its type?
Hi, had an abscess develop two months ago and treated with antibiotics. I foolishly sat on getting proper treatment and it flared up again a couple of weeks back so had a second round of antibiotics.
Been to see the dentist today and asked whether it needed draining whilst sorting out a treatment plan and costs, and was advised that I should be massaging/popping it to help it drain. Have I been given the right advice? Everything online is saying it should only be incised, drained or popped under supervision.
Thanks
