(tank speeds towards city with Spiderman dragging behind it) Uaaaaarrrggghhh, nothings working!!!

(Suddenly a portal appears, in front of the tank and Wong steps, out, "Erghhh, i'm tired of this, hey new guy, show me what you got!" - Ned steps though wearing Wizard outfit wearing a sling ring - "Hey, so, did any of you guy's play Portal?" - Casts a portal behind the tank "Wong: How did you get that so wrong? i'll do it" - Ned summons another portal in front of the tank (tank get stuck in a constant cycle) "HA HA....NED!" Punisher catches up, Is like "what the f**k" blasts the wheels, stopping the tank after a bit)

Spiderman rips open the tank door and Jean possesses him "You're you're Spider-Man, right, look, i can't explain but my sister was taken by DODC i need to get her back, the boss, he's done all this terrible stuff (she shares all the memories of the guards and researchers she's possessed) See, i need to get to Mezgar and find out where my sister is.

Spiderman - Woah woah, ok ok, i don't know what's going on but tell me where you are and i'll help you get your sister back!

(jean drop down onto the stairwell outside his office) Metzgar enters - "We increased security, after numerous incid....."She's...she alive, i know where she is, Metzgar DID take her and experiment on her..not just her, but so many others! i have to find them...but first (types on computer) i'm going to have Matzgar admit to everything he's done, with all his contacts, getting a report to the Daily bugle is a case of......there done! DODC will be in for a very bumpy ride, be quick and grab me outside ok!"

---idents, what..was i just saying? (scene plays out) - Spiderman - "Oh, theres something i need to take care off, hey can i just, go out the window, those guards really spooked me" -Oh, sure, one second, ---- there, tell me if you find anything! (phone rings), oh, sorry good luck spiderman, we are against a threat we haven't seen before.

Spiderman picks up jeans grey and swings away...

Come on, i know there's at least one person who uses THAT as their starting word, you enter it every day, waiting for it to happen, so when you got this as the result from your first guess, you must have go "NOOOOOO!!!!, SO CLOSE!!!!"

I didn't go looking at those "breakdown" channels and alike when the trialers dropped, so when i went to see the film and it's revealed "Oh yeah, it's Jean grey, she's the big bad!" (bad is an understatement) i was Kinda suprised, maybe it's due to Spider-man 2 PS5 but i was thnking Metzger was going to turn out to be Mr Negative,

In the trailer he get's a grandose scene and later when the people are talking about MJ and "demons" it really did make me go "Oh, so Mr Negative has possessed these people and he's having them talk to Spider-man, that's why the 'villain' is invisible and we can't see them, cos they possess others to do their bad deeds.

The "wave" we saw in the trailer, i thought was Mr Negative possessing the entire city, and yeah, that's pretty much what happens with Jean grey. So i have to wonder...did the plan/script changed and they ditched Mr Negative and went with Jean grey instead?

It's almost poetic, Mauler STILL hasn't done a video on Civil War, the movie he champions in the MCU and has (at least, at the time) the best/smartest villian in the MCU (even in FATWS he was still a good/smart character) And then ten years (and a bit) after the best villian, we get, by far the worst, most evil, most unlikable, and (crucially) the most stupid villian in MCU history

Back then i kinda hated Civil war, as no one "perished" and it felt like Avengers Age of Ultron additional content, but over the years, i've come to enjoy it more and more, no-where near as much as Mauler, but if you were to tell me "man, i know this villain is amazing, but just wait, 10 years later you're gonna get someone who EVERYONE hates! i wouldn't have believed you.

After watching the movie- the EFAP and the unbridled, i started thinking more about the movie, and one scene came to mind when i was trying to remember what version of Hulk was in the movie (beast hulk? wrecking hulk?) anyway while i was thinking i remembered how Spidey "beat" the hulk, and when i thought some more..something didn't add up.

So 2 things, 1 hulk is puching peter..the hulk, THE HULK the same hulk who stopped a skyscraped sized Citari with one punch but let's just ignore Spidey should be a goo pile right now, the thing that confused me is what Peter says to "stop the hulk"

He says he's Peter don't you remember banner, we were avengers, we fought together, this somehow gets through to hulk who calms down and let's himself fall off the building with about 50 tonnes of rubble with him. NOW, unless i;m missing something, Peter/Spiderman and hulk never fought together, or rather the did, but it was in a battle with 500 other people.

So him saying he's an Avenger, doesn't make sense as Bruce/Hulk wouldn't know that or his voice or his looks, not only that, but that was the last and only time Bruce and peter were in the same area, theres no hulk in FFH, certainly none in NWH and spider-man hasn't been in a Marvel film since No Way home.

Even before IW, Hulk was in space/on the Grandmasters planet, and he left after Age of Ultron, so he wouldn't have seen peter in Civil War. the ONLY time i can find is Starks funeal but they don't tak, they just stand in silence

Am i missing something, Stanges spell made it so everyone forgot peter parker was Spiderman, so how did Banner in Hulk form recognize him, and more so how did Beast Hulk recognize him?

Even though i enjoyed this film in the cinema, after the EFAP i fully get why Mauler decided to do an unbridled on it.

It's gonna be just like the old days, with the Star wars TLJ unbridled and the slowly rotting watermelon!

I made the mistake of wasting my time waiting for the post credits, hoping HOPING to see Dr doom , or something to give him substance, however, there is ONE post credit scene, right at the end, after all the credits, and it is the worst one yet.

Do you remember Ragnarok's post credit scene and how it really built up what's about to happen? Thor and Loki on the ship before a ENORMOUS ship appears before them, signifying that Thanos is here? Or at the end of Infinity war to build up Captain Marvel? Or Far from home? Showing the Skrulls were Nick fury and giving us the glimpse of "S.W.OR.D?" Or (sigh) Eternals teasing Blade?

Then we have ones that actually looked like a build to the next movie, Dr strange with Mordo at the end, Ant man showing steve rogers -Falcon and winter soldier, you get the idea. After all that, and after BND, Marvel should just quit post credit scenes, they no longer have the magic of even care to stick around.

This is their LAST movie before Doomsday, if Fantasic four got a Doom scene, this badly needed it, instead...instead oh boy, if you stuck around for all the credits, you got a Computer app (spidey tracker) showing "spiderman detected" it pans out and out and out till it leaves the earth goes past the moon and to a spot in space then blips "New spiderman detected" and..."Spider-man will return" and that's it

First of all, if this is a "teaser" for AG or TM spiderman, you already blew your load with No way home, i don't care if they are in Doomsday since we already saw them - Secondly, you had every chance to show a scene where peter and SPOILER are working together to stop a crime, like the final scene teased us and that just fell flat - thirdly DOOM, hello DOOM where the f**k is he? and finally this post credit scene had...no-one no-one appeared it was just a computer screen, are we at the point where TEXT is considered a "post credit scene"

BOY i can't wait for the Avengers encore, waiting 30 minutes for the credits to see "Stark had an evil twin" on the screen and everyone applauding!

Brand new day...the film that was supposed to come out AFTER Doomsday before Marvel realized "Oh wait...between Fantastic 4 and Doomsday, we've got nothing for 18 months...we should get 1 film so theres not all this dead air"

Anyway, and i feel like i'm getting deja vu here, this is the LAST film before Doomsday, Doomsday, a film with Docotor doom, who as of now (not including the Doomsday trailer) has had "ahem"

THREE F**KING SECONDS OF SCREEN TIME! of him holding the child of the Fantasic four, that's all the build we've got to hate doom/fear Doom/ or even understand Doom, three...freaking seconds. As such we got the "Avengers Endgame Encore" announcement which will have 7 minutes of extra footage and a bridge between Endgame and Doomsday ha..ahahahhahah. Good luck!

So right now, surely SURELY Brand new day will have Doctor appear in the post credits right, doing....something anything, imagine if in the post-credits, Doom encounters Spiderman and calls him peter parker, takes off his mask (showing Stark) before blasting him though a portal to another universe, and that's where it ends.

We've got to get something right?

BTW one more time NO SPOILERS, only speculation!

I don't WANT to say "Padding" but i'd love to know if Jagex actually explained the thought process behind making the hardest puzzle in the entire game (at that point) players spending hours solving the maze running back and forth for supplies, redoing the entire maze over and over agian till they got the FINAL triple light puzzle, Solving that, expecting a huge reward and to be able to put the crystal where it needs to go.

Only to be stopped by a Dwarf who THEN...after all that, gives the player a list of 50 items to bring to him, so they can get the death talisman, the list isn't even hard or obscure, it's just a case of going back round the light maze (IF you rotated the mirror) or though UP or the Elf land entrance 3 or so times, and THEN you finish the quest in 20 seconds (use talisman -use Crystal - teleport to elf land -talk)

Why have this, what was the thinking? anyone know?

I'm not going to spoil or reveal the leaks Mauler and co talked about, but this thought occurred to me this morning, IF what the leaks say are true, Mjolnir makes no sense, and if they aren't true, what we see in the trailer still makes no sense.

This thought process continued and i went HANG ON, how is tony stark in AOE NOT worthy? in Thor, all Thor had to do to be deem "worthy" was walk in front of a robot to save 4 people from Loki, that's it he was risking his life to save them. remind me, WHAT did Tony stark do in Avengers with the Nuke?

And then theres Vision, he's LIT-ER-AL-LY just been born/created and he can lift Thor's hammer? for what? i guess you could say it's due to Jarvis hiding the nuke codes from Ultron, but that's a safty feature of a program (created by Stark) not a worthy decision. Captain america does make sense and i can fully see why he would be deemed worthy no complaints there (at least before the ending)

Jane foster, is where theres clearly a Retcon, or rather "We have no idea how to have this make sense" She walks up to the broken hammer - the hammer reforms - and she can weild/hold it...Jane Foster the woman who's done nothing it deemed worthy to wield improved Mjolnir. What, was she deemed "worthy" cos with her cancer she got on a plane and went to Norway?

AND YET, TONY STARK RISKING HIS LIFE WITH A NUKE TO SAVE THE PLANET ISN'T CONSIDERED WORTHY!?!?

Heck, even Banner can be deemed worthy stopping the Cituri in Avengers. but nah. Hela, the mass killer she's (still) worthy and can hold Mjlonir without being pinned to the ground. It just seems that this whole "Worthy" aspect is now just "We want this cool moment with X character" and if THAT character is worthy in Doomsday...well GF "worthy" means nothing anymore...

I get it's the first trailer and the second one we'll get more of the "plot" but my word, compared to the Infinity war trailer, the level of "i wanna watch that again" is 0, no good hookable lines no real stand out moments (sorry there was ONE) in the entire trailer and my god the BLOAT of characters.

See, this is what happens when you spend years NOT building up the villian, we seem Doom in th trailer, no voice lines, nothing, compared to Thanos and his first line "In time, you will know what it's like to lose" in the doomsday trailer, we get Pussy footed Thor going "Uhhh guys, we can't win this one!!!"

The trailer is just a showcase of characters, and some nostalgia baiting, "oh my god, steve rogers he's back who would have guessed, it's not like we had AN ENTIRE trailer saying "Captain america will return" the scenes we see are just a garbled mess of nostalgia and no direction, we get one. ONE scene which made me go "oh?" and it's Doom stopping Thor's axe with just two fingers, THAT at least shows the power level of doom, but compare that scene to the IW trailer and Thanos flexing the Infinity guantlet and the two infinity stones...yeah

Well, good luck with the second trailer; surely it can't be worse?

EDIT - Correction, after watching AZ's video he points out that Doom is actually speaking at the start of the trailer "Something is coming, something we may not be able to deter...we shall be faced with an unthinkable decision" YET his voice is so bad and so unthreatening, that I genuinely thought it was Xavier or Magneto or another X-men who's saying it.

You get the first three letters in a row all green no yellow, you then take 3-4+ words to actually get the word, compared to when you only had yellow and got it in 2-3?

And secondary, which would you rather get, the first 3 or the last 3?

Everyone has a starting word, either for the lol's (my first starting wordy was "Busty" then if i didn't get any letter's my second would be "Cream" this was when i first started and it was like "Yeah this is kinda fun, i'll play it for a week")

That didn't happen, and my starting word/s shifted all over, i went with "Graze" for a while since it has two uncommon letters, but on day that shifted, the word..."Squad" and from that day on, i vowed, never for a "QU" to stump me again, so my Starting word is "Quake" it ends with E which is extremely common the QU means that i have a "rare" letter plus a "rare" sound and if i end up getting nothing i can use "Point" which uses all the vowels up

If there's an U i go with "Strum" to knock out three common consonants

If there's an E i go with "Vixen" to knock out two more rare letters

And if there's a K i go with "Glock"

Often i can get the answer long as it's not something like "Eight" or "Puppy"

Over a year ago we got Paralogism, the first Archon interlude quest takin place in Mondstadt, a few months prior i discovered these video above talking about how forgotten the place was, the last actual content we got from Mondstadt was...Mika, all the way back in 2023 after that, really nothing bar the random event we got, no new characters, quests or permenant content.

Then, the program for 5.6 arrived and we saw and were told Mondstadt would be getting a new quest, that came out on May 7th, all well and good Mondstadt finally get's content, but that was not the only thing mondstadt got in the past year

We got FIVE (Six if we count Nicole) new characters "from" Mondstadt, that is unheard of for a nation that isn't brand new, Dahlia arrived in 5.6 our first character in 3 years. then 2 version into Nod-Krai we got Durin, two version ago we got Varka, and in this version we have Prune and Lohen joining the crew, plus Nicole if we want to count her as a Mondstadt character

Six* new characters in one year, and that's not all, we also got a brand new area last version with an even bigger area full of lore above it (temple of space) but still Dorman Port finally exists and is in the game, on top of that, we got a new Mondstadt boss.

New artifacts and a new domain arrived this version, which coinsides with a new combat mechanic mondstadt characters got the "Hexenzirkel" team buff, the first time a nation that isn't new got a new combat system, which resulted in Mondstadt character recieving buffs for the first time (only a select amount though)

It's absolutely amazing how Mondstadt has gone dead and forgotten with the weakest characters in the game, to currently (as of this version) getting some of the strongest characters from a non-main nation. We've gone from Mika, to Varka - Nicole - Durin and next week, Lohen!

Now can we get some love for Inazuma once all this real world stuff ends? :(

GAHD this is another game that has me thinking what it was, i played it a lot when i was young but i cannot recall what it was called (and i remember "Devilish" from back then)

So my memory is fuzzy, but it was a game for the Game gear, and what i remember you start on thie map, but you can't tell what's on each panel, so you have to move your character arond, going into each black square, and each square has some part of the map in it, either enemies or treasure, but what i remember is there was a blue portal thing you had to find to go to the next map/level

It's been nagging me as i cannot remember what it was called but i played it so much trying to get further and further as a kid.

Anyone know what Game gear game this is?

This is "semi ranty" but it needs to be said, as if this is a direction the game is slowly going towards with events then it's just asking for a trouble, In the game game each version we now actually have less events, due to Stygian onslaught counting as an event for a week an a half each version, that is the event, theres nothing else for a week and a half just SO, and you know what?

I'm fine with that, if Hoyo repeating SO means they can spend more time on other events and story quests then this change is all good, i mean, look at the temple of space and the quest, absolutely glorious and beautiful to play and experience. worth SO taking over from events. We also had some fun events in the main event, the "reverse bullet hell" was ok, he Ineffa defence was really good (though not theatre mechanicus good) and the Beidou barrage was your standard combat event (even though this whole "press this button to swap to the auto damage..is getting tiresome"

So, when i finally started Rapid Capture, i thought it would be like last time, where we peice together a scene in order and weed out the red herrings, then we see the story/scene take place, THAT was fun and required a nice amount of thinking...and order, it was limited but had some level of creativity since you could just pick the wrong one and have the story go off the rails.

That was not the case, and playing it, i'm reminded of something from..i think 3 years ago? Secret summer paradise, where Mihoyo dumbed down the puzzles A LOT from last year (remember the reflection puzzle?) due to apparently people complaining how hard it is, so Secret summer paradise had "puzzles" where you interact with a sign..then read another sign, and TA DA the chest opens

That is what this event dangerously comes close to, no challenge, no puzzle no effort no thinking no replay value at all, For those who somehow haven't done the event yet, let me give you a run down of the stages and what each stage asks you to do (brace yourself!!!)

Stage one, walk (you can't run) towards 5 dots slowly rotating the camera so the camera stays in shot
stage two, press a button 3 times repeat this 5 more times (no i am not joking)
stage three, collect 8 dots, then collect the 9th orange dot in a time limit. There are two each of these and there is zero change or difference if you use any other character, you know how in the combat events it gives you trail characters, and those help get your score up? they give you trial characters here as well...for no reason!

I know and i've read how this is a "photo event" and is more for people who like to take images of the game, my arguement for that is, we have had photo events in the past, and your know what they had? REQUIRMENTS you had to wait till a certain time - be in an idle pose- be from a specific nation - use a certain weapon - or an element, and by the way, the loading times to actually START the "rapid capture" scenes were disgustingly long...on normal photo events, you...teleport - got to location - press a button to start - get your character the required shot - take the shot - leave. All of that can be done before "rapid capture even loads!

I have no idea what the thinking is if you look at the special program, they talk about it being"fun scenes" and "completing various tasks"

But theres none of that it's not "fun" theres no "variety" and seeing what other can do, is meaningless if it's just gonna be yours but with the camera at a different angle/rotating. i really hope this is a one of, and it never comes back (remember Fun-tastic fungi?) People says it's a worst event in genshin history and you know what?

I'D RATHER DO THE TAKEAWAY EVENT THAN THIS! and that's saying somethig considering how so many people hated that event, but i really would since players can actually feel something when doing tat, with this you just sit there..tap a button and wait for it to be over...you're better than this Hoyoverse!

Anyway, mini ranty-esqe over, does anyone legitimately want this same event to return?

EDIT, most likely 1997-1998 as i started with demo 48 and that was in 1999 so the game must be older than that!

I feel like the title is the post but i'll add more, cos i swear this has been on my mind for probably decades, way back then there was some demo i played i don't think it was an OPM demo, maybe euro demo or something? and one of the demo was this fighting game, i THINK it had animals and humans but don't quote me on that.

The demo had a few characters, i think 2 were playable and one i remember the most, it was kinda a fighting game but it was more 3D like you are on this small ish map the character i remember had some kind of "all or nothing attack" where he turned into a rocket, and launched into the air, he then came crashing down and KO'd himself and the opponent IF he hit with the rocket, else he get's knocked out

I think there was something where the longer you held the button the more he would launch to a point when it hit maximum and he went into the air, so you could launch a bit into the air and hit your opponent with a falling attack.

this has been on my mind for so long, it must have been a "niche" game, if ANYONE knows what game this was and a video of the attack, i would be SO freaking grateful to have this nagging memory end.
